Something to do with electrical impulses and synapses, etc. Just like blokes.

Seriously, that's an awfully broad question. Generally speaking, we think much the same as men do, only most women are a bit more emotionally centered than logically centred. That said, there are plenty of emotional blokes and logical women, as well. I'm logic and solution oriented, and I do have some trouble understanding the often emotional mindset of my own gender. When I'm having this trouble, I ask for an explanation for the behaviour that confuses me, and consequently get in trouble for offering a logical solution like 'if you don't like feeling that way, then don't.' If you're faced with an emotional woman, distract her with flowers or something, then she might be happy and subsequently more open to logical approaches.

As Tee said, no one really knows. The mixup has to do with having the brain all in one location, unlike males. I don't know how many women insist that males either have all their brains in their bums, or at least some part annexed to their penises.

Overall and very generically, women can categorize information into more gradations than men can, and this especially includes communication.

Specifically, women can both express and read more information from a speaker via tone and inflection of voice and body language.
This extra information can make decision-making more complex, as more consequences are foreseen.

You are welcome

How the bloody hell would I know? I'm only a man.

All I have been able to fathom is it's emotional, not logical. Needless to say, at certain times in the month, all decision making is turned upside down, inside out, back to front, whatever.

And then we get b*****ked for not listening.

The same way as men's. It's the social conditioning that makes the difference.
