Yes. I've seen a ghost at a friends house. A little girl, standing on the landing between the first and second flights of stairs in the foyer.

She had died over 100 years ago on the same street, ran over by a horse carriage. She knows people are upstairs and just stops on the landing and looks out the window.

Very eerie.

We currently believe we have some sort of entity in our new house.

One of my girls (she's only three) said she had heard somebody talking to her outside the bathroom shortly after we moved in. we didn't think anything about it as we assumed it was just her little game (you know what kids can be like)!

This was until I was in the house on my own a few weeks ago on the landing, outside the bathroom, when I distinclty heard some one say "they're dead", seriously, and I'm quite a sceptic. It's made me shiver just typing it!!

It was only just a couple of hours ago also that I asked my wife if she had knocked some items off of our bedroom windowsill, she told me she hadn't been upstairs since getting up this morning. Those items were on the window sill all of a few minutes earlier!!

Freaky eh, and all very true!

I have had lots of experiences with spirits. i have never been scared by one just taken by surprize. Its a very complicated work with complexities that are hard to define.

My sister saw a face in her ceiling and found out years later that it was a face that would visit the grieving on battle fields. I was told of a story of a friends boyfriend who was a victim of a hit nad run. After being on life support they turned it off and four 5 nights he appeared ar her bedside eventually she was able to help him by having a dream and she put him in contact with someone to help him cross over.

I overheard a petrol attendent telling someone he had gone to a party and saw a liitle boy running about but no one could see him. later on he found out some years ago a child had been killed.

I just thought of another experience I was driving in my car when something caught my eye in my rear vision miror and I thought it was a rogue plastic bag but another glance and it looked like a woman floating. It was actually quite scary and I continued driving I looked three times and saw something I then started to pray. This occurred shortly after an aquaintance of mine suicided and it was rumoured that her family were devil worshippers. To this day I dont know what the entity was but I was quuite scared.

THere certainly are many accounts from very sane and logical people. THere is something out there..........................

Yes, several times.

When I was a child someone used to pull my toes while I was in bed. No one was in the room but me and I used to hide under the covers and shiver.

Recently, we traveled to Long Beach with family to stay on the haunted Queen Mary Ship and Hotel. It is truly haunted. My sister in law saw a shape in her bathroom mirror and ran down five flights of stairs and two blocks to the car screaming.
As for me, I had a male spirit take a shower with me. The tiny bathroom was filled with steam and I saw his perfect huge footprint on the black toilet seat. I stared at it for over 3 minutes. I ran to get my hubby and the steam disapated and so did the print. It was awesome.

I am a believer.

When I was in the Navy I was on a ship that had a bad accident that killed 47 people. I would wake up at the same time five nights in a row and see my best friend who had died. He never said anything he just stood there with a sad expression on his face and faded away. About a month later I moved into a vacant bunk that used to belong to a guy who died, the first night I slept in it this guy wakes me up and was cursing me out for sleeping in his bunk, he tried pulling me out of it. I pushed him off me and told him it wasn’t his bunk anymore and that he was dead. He paused and his eyes got big and he vanished in a split second. In the morning I asked around to see who’s bunk it used to be and it was the individual’s bunk who woke me in the middle of the night.

I was at my grandmother's house in SanBenito, TX (the valley) when I heard someone walking behind me while I was watching T.V in my grandma's room ( she has wooden floors). I immediatly thought it was my aunt because my grandparents went to San Antonio, so I said without looking to my aunt if she could bring me a coke and when I turned around she was not there. So I called her name and still no response so when I got up to look for her I went to her room and she was asleep. Another night I woke up in the middle of the night because I felt something standing by me. When I woke there was a white glow standing at my head. I was sleeping on the floor w/ my brother. We were staying at my grandma's for the summer. Anyways the funny thing was I was not afraid of whatever was standing there in front of me. I even sat up and looked around the room to see if there was light coming in the room and there wasn't. When I laid back down it was still there and not that much longer it dissapeared. It was weird, I will never forget that. I believe in spirits, good and bad but I believe something good was watching over me that day. I've never seen a black figure but I've heard of some people seeing a blackish figure.

Maybe you lived in a black neighbourhood... but to be fair there's various stuff can make you misinterpret, cos edgy, or physical prob's that interfere with perception. Less likely if in good health, sober (no alc./drug withdrawal), wide awake + at peace with the world in the bright light of mid-day after a good night's sleep etc. Physical deprivation commonly causes illusion/delusion/hallucination (hearing, sight, smell etc.), thro. lack of sleep, food, fluids. The prophets on bare mountains would disrupt normal mental abilities by giving themselves a tough time. Maybe stress of driving when so incapacited would be a common cause of 'not there' perceptions. Brain starts to run on different blood sugar fuel when runs out of the usual stuff. I've known wierd stuff that I can and that I can't explain.

I've spoken to a demonic lord. I've seen faerie, and strange spirits... if you're so into ghosts, just become a ghost hunter. Save some cash, get some sound-editing programs for your PC, and take a tape recorder into known "haunted areas". Take pictures, etc.

Over the years both me and my boyfriend of many years have seen many ghosts. Some we have just heard in the attic. One years ago was a little girl she used to haunt the cabinet where we kept our food. It used to be a dumbwaiter that went from the first floor to the third. She was the little girl who died in my front hallway she had fallen down the stairs and broke her neck, she died instantly. But I am no longer one who jumps at these sounds and figures I see I have come to welcome them into my home. Actually I have had a couple of mean spirited ones of the years but eventually they do move on.

In the 1960's a commercial pilot was flying back to the airport when all of a sudden an old silver fighter World War I plane suddenly appeared out of nowhere and clipped one of his wings. The WWI pilot wore one of those old leather helmets and goggles. Later, when the commercial pilot landed, the ground crew noticed silver paint on the wingtip. Paint analysis showed it to be over 30 years old. True story.
