I have only seen evidence of this in the Hindu kundalini yoga traditions, but Tibetan Buddhists receive the same energy (shakti).

Jews, Muslims, and Christians (I don't know who else) all believe in the same God, the God of Abraham. Yet they all have different beliefs. It's so confusing to pick a religion. I was a Christian until I converted to Islam without learning about it cause the Imam asked me if I want to say the Shahadah and I said I want to learn about Islam first and he asked if I want a box full of Islam things and I said yes and he said repeat after me...then he told me what I said and he said you are now a Muslim. Ok, wait a minute...I wanted to learn about it first. Sigh. I'm definitely not Christian because I don't believe that Jesus was God or the same as God as they say he is. I might believe he is a messenger but I'm still trying to find out. I'm stuck in between Judaism and believing that Jesus is a prophet. I crossed out Christianity, but not Islam...yet. I do not know enough about Islam to claim myself one. Either I'm a Jew or one who believes Jesus is a prophet. My head hurts.

Compare God with an egg, or water, or wathever... if He did than "your God" did not create me, because He is comparing himself to something that his created, just like i am created.
Did God compare himself to any of this in the Bible? Don't you think you should be carefull how you compare God if God doesn't compare himself in those ways?

it's an interesting question i have asked many for years...But, is there a true religion....where a actuall God does truely exist..with undeniable proof...i ask this due to the fact that just about all religions have a false faith, and not many actually "practice what they preach". And most faiths and religions seem based on Paganism....
I would like to find something to build a faith in....and learn....but i would like it to be be honest...and true....is there such a religion that would reflect this?

Was any forced to go to church when they were younger? Most people would say yes, but on top of Sunday service were you made to go to Saturday healing services and weekday services as well? Do resent going to church because of these past experiences?

Personally i am too nice a person to keep reminding them that most commercial stuff makes me itch or brings me out in a rash. And i really don't expect them to buy me one that has little or no unnecessary chemicals in it. And spa or massage vouchers are a few price brackets up. Bah. Humbug!

As manners & etiquette quickly disolve from our society people are losing the most basic skill of all to respect spacial boundaries. As a result of this arguements, fights & deaths are increasing every year. In short the problem is only getting worse. If parents are not teaching respect of others perhaps schools can.

I feel this way. I was raised in the church all my life and taught for ten years as a young adult I taught from cradle roll, to elderly classes.
I have converted many of good people to my cause. Haveing them freely denounce their faith for my faith. I was taught to engage in debate. About ten years ago I applied my teaching techniqe to our own group and on myself to answer truly the questions that we answer and ask in our bible studys. Well I screwed up them and me now. Its been over ten years since i've been in church, and most of all i had taught and learned I have sense purged. I see It the way you do. I see it the way they see it. I have studied with all kind of beliefs. Im still hung up on somethings i believe to be right, so I can not worship free hearted with you if you can not see it my way, and I can not share with you my belief because I can not muster the energey for debate. We are all here on Yahoo for a reason. Im miserable
