Every year, my husband and I stress out about what to do about his brother and sister. His brother skimps out on our family. One year, he gave our then 1 yr old a coupon (the kind that comes with credit card bills. luckily, we happened to have a credit card through that bank), our then 3 yr old one hot wheels car, and for us, it appears that he and his wife search their attic and closets to find our gifts. I know it is the thought that counts, but it seems they don't think much of us at all. Then there's his sister. We mail her a package every yr and we don't even know if she gets them. Is it bad manners to quit giving them gifts altogether? We typically spend $20 on each of them, plus the time and effort to shop.

In need please read! ideas for a mircle!?
i already faced the fact my family wont be having gifts this year. it was a rough year for us and i tried toys for tots n salvation army but i was too late in signing up i didnt know my hubby would be laid off! but anyway what im asking i still want to celebrate , any ideas my kids r ages 18 girl 17 boy 16 girl 14 girl 12 boy and my baby grandson whom is 4 months old, is there anything we can do to make the holidays alittle brighter with no gifts! thank u and serious answers only!! merry christmas n god bless

Do you think that mankind evolved from monkey like creatures. A few things, science does say that our dna is almost exactly the same as a monkey's dna. Also, their are many fossils that can go along with the theory except for the missing link. The only true opponent of evolution is religion. Now in the book of Genesis it does tell us that man was a little bit more of a simplier being before he ate from that tree the bible says that we could talk to animals, its said that we walked around naked before and as well childbirth wasn't painful. Once man at from the tree, we became aware of being naked, we felt pain in childbirth, and we couldn't communicate with animals anymore. This sounds like evolving to me in the basic form. I am not talking about Charles Darwin vs. Creation, I am asking about evolution vs creation or can they be the same. What do you think?

Why do alot of people think and insist that Women are forced onto the game??

When it obvious that they are not,

No doubt some of you will say , to fund their drug habit, or because they are homeless

But why cant they get help to boot the drug habit, then get help for a house, Get a job, and then live a reasonably safe life, Instead of risking their life on the game..

The end fact is they are not forced onto it, but they choose do do it.

What is it about Islam that it cannot even get along with itself, i.e., Shi'ites and Sunnis are killing each other in the name of Allah. There was even an attempt by Sunnis to prevent Shi'ites from entering Mecca. What's the problem? Can't we all just get along? What's your opinion about this and what is your idea of a solution? the way god made me was as a scientific person, i dont believe in wasting my life if there is no proof of a god. I would love it if there was a god but with no proof i wonder why should i waste my life giving my faith etc to god.??

faith to me does not mean nothing.. i could have faith that i will win the lottery but that aint gonna make me win it is it?

houses gossiping away.. I'm from the South East and moved there about 8 years ago, but then moved back down South, but I always noticed this phenomenon...

I used to find it really uncomfortable walking past groups of neighbours gathered outside each others homes.. why does this tend to happen more so in the North of England than the South... and it isn't because people are more neighbourly in the North...

Where I live about 35 miles from London my neighbours all know each other but we just don't do this... I'm not saying this makes us better ... I just find it interesting the way different communities work..
