Why do alot of people think and insist that Women are forced onto the game??
When it obvious that they are not,
No doubt some of you will say , to fund their drug habit, or because they are homeless
But why cant they get help to boot the drug habit, then get help for a house, Get a job, and then live a reasonably safe life, Instead of risking their life on the game..
The end fact is they are not forced onto it, but they choose do do it.

Ginger.... What is that supposed to mean.
I think you need to open your eyes and ears a bit wider and not listen to the bollox that your been fed with by the media,
It is simple, You choose to be a crack?smack head? , you choose to go on the dangerous game, In these circumstances you pay with your life,
SIMPLE, AS YOU PUT IT,
What would you choose?

Mjdavan3.......Better yet, give up your all your possessions, your money, and live on the street. After doing that for a while, we'll see what you're willing to do to survive???
Why would i want to do that, I choose to work hard and honestly, I choose not to take drugs so i dont have to put my self in a situation, where i have to live on the street, So I have to "survive".
If I found myself out of work, I would not start taking drugs to escape the sh!t, I would find a job.
There can be no compromise , these people choose , this way of life.
You either choose the game and pay with your life.
Or you dont choose the game and pay with your life.

The fact is that there are Girls/Women that are unfortunately "forced" onto the "game" but I don't think you're actually referring to those are you? but to the ones that "choose" to go with that option when there are clearly other choices...choices that would take them a lot longer to make some money & obviously choices that perhaps wouldn't make them the kind of money they're looking to make as a prostitute.
I totally agree with what you're saying about those that have a choice.
I wonder if they realise or even care the effect their choice of life has on the poor Kids that have to be brought up with these Women, the kind of life that they choose to give their Children.
I can speak from experience as my Mother was a prostitute & my Father her pimp..Thank God that the authorities took my Brother & myself out of the situation. OK we were brought up in Children's homes & as a Child all I wanted was my Mother & Father, but when I became an Adult I was so grateful that someone had stepped in & helped my Brother & myself. No! my Childhood wasn't a happy one... but still a lot better than being brought up with my Parents & the way of life they CHOSE.
I'm sure you're not digging out the Girls & Boys that are abducted from their country's to be brought to another land & then forced to live in sqaulid conditions under constant threat of their lives...that's a totally different senario, although even amongst those there are still some that as soon as they get a chance they're out of there & managing somehow to get their lives together...& learning to live it with pride.

"But why cant they get help to boot the drug habit, then get help for a house, Get a job, and then live a reasonably safe life, Instead of risking their life on the game"
I knew a girl who was a prostitute and a drug user. She wanted to get help in order to kick her habit. The waiting list for that help was four months. In the meantime, if she wanted a place to sleep where she wouldn't freeze to death, get beaten up, robbed, or possibly killed, then she would have to make some money to get a motel room and some food. The quickest way to do that is to prostitute herself. The only way she could cope with that was to use drugs. After she buys her motel room and food, she has no money again so the cycle repeats over and over again until she doesn't know anything else. Maybe you think that a person can just wake up one morning and say, "I quit", but that's not the way it works. And the supposed "help" that's out there is underfunded and understaffed. Perhaps you should go and volunteer your time and money to help these women. Better yet, give up your all your possessions, your money, and live on the street. After doing that for a while, we'll see what you're willing to do to survive.

Some women are forced in the "game". And it is never a "game'
when anyone is forced. You can't look at just part of a situation
and say that it is'nt forced. If your life were in the balance and you
were told to either do it or die, I would call that force. I agree that
drugs and being homeless is'nt a reason to put your life on the
line. There is help out there for those people. And women are not
the only people that do those things either.

My goodness me, it must be lovely to have been born a man, with the knowledge that you are right all the time. Do you have no empathy? Do you have no understanding of society and the way in which it lets people down? Sometimes prostitution is the only way for these women to make a life for themselves and quite often their children.
And please don't forget, that if men didn't require their services, they wouldn't be leading this sort of life.

It's difficult to get help for a drug habit when it's illegal. You're as likely to end up in prison as rehab.
And when people say forced, they don't mean forced by circumstances, they mean forced by men with baseball bats and guns.
