why does the bible not explain this mystery

Because the Bible also said that the Earth is flat and built on four pillars. They weren't very good at astronomy, which is amusing seeing as people had worked out the spherical earth millenia before Christianity arose.

The earth will not be desroyed but rejuvenated.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

yes, the earth will come close to complete destruction but Jesus will return just in the nick of time. That has nothing to do with the rest of the vast universe we know, which could be only a very small ppart of the kingdom of the Living God,

The world is not destroyed in Revelation, it is re-newed to its post-fall status. We are the only life in the universe thus we are the center of the universe. I don't know why God made kangaroos so how could I fathom why He created a universe so big!

The wicked world of mankind is what is discussed here not the EARTH itself.The Bible assures us that the earth will be here forever,and Jesus worked to the end of proving that the Earth can and will be a place where the will of his Heavenly father will be carried out,as to the Earth and man living on it in peace and enjoyment.

God is the universe, it will last forever. world will loose its energy and transform into another form. everything is all about energy. its only easier to understand in religio where they are written in stories but it all come down to one truth-it's energy. always need to change in order to exist.

WHO are you?why you said so?you only her creature.OK,let see.universe it is just same like human,human will die someday so it's fair if universe also will die.human,animal and all her creature will die but not god because he is not bean created,he can't destroy.
