Seeing the world realistically, it seems that some people want all others to think alike..such as their religion, their political views, even such things as whether to say Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas causes extreme sensitivity in some...
Are we just getting too petty? Or extremely sensitive? Or is it this stupid "Politically correct" thing?

What are your views on focusing on all this petty stuff, while the world has many more "real' and enormous problems?

Yep, I'm wacko, mad, and all of those things I can hear a lot of you saying but, If I had just one wish it wouldn't be for riches or fame it would be to meet an advanced ET from another world/dimension. I just loved the movies: Close Encounters & ET. Anyone else out there as mad as me???

When I grew up Santa filled the stocking and gave 1 big present.
My girlfriends family gave the majority of the gifts from Santa and a few from the parents. Just type Santa or Parents for who gives the most gifts. Thanks.

Taking a beautiful idea (celabrating the birth of christ) and useing it for world domination, if only for a few months a year. And then like all of the best evil representativs tempts you with goodies year after year.
And slowly but surely he is getting rid of the idea of christ being the purpose of christmass. Also christmass is getting longer and more about santa and presents. Is this all coincidence or is Santa evil and getting greedy.

some people say that it had beginnings in the bible when jesus was visited by the 3 wiseman bearing gifts. i dont completely agree with that. was it part of the church who wanted to do this or was it a mix between different faiths (roman mythology and christianity)

Do our actions speaks about basic moral responsiblities in modern times?Gandhiji was killed for cause of India's independence.Indira Gandhiji died for cause to curb terrorism.Rajiv Gandhiji died for promoting peace in Sri Lanka...so many examples for right causes.But on other hand we citizens of India does not bother about our fellow Indians when he/she is in misery or helplesness.As per one of News item,the mentally retarded girl was raped in overcrowded suburban train in day light in Mumbai and hundreds of impotent commuters had rejoiced that pathetic scene joyfully at free of cost.None of them dared either to stop the crime not to stop the running train.U may read such many real incidents in News paper while sipping your morning Tea/coffee and just do nothing becoz it has not affected U or UR family members..If one such crime would have been averted on the spot at that moment, no one would have repeat it again.Let us realize and respond to social evils spontaneously for safer India

Christians, please give your interpretation of scriptures. I have read the scriptures and know the references already. Please give your personal thoughts with limited quotes for brevity.
Other religions, same as above but be more clear if you make reference from texts other than the Bible. I have little to no exposure to other texts. Thank you.
