I don't think it should be. The countries where it is legal have mounting problems with diseases the same as if it were illegal. The statistics that they put out that it is safe and profitable is only half true. It is profitable. Any place that has prostitution has higher crime rates and murder rates increase in those areas. We shouldn't risk women's lives or anyone else's for any reason. :)

Absolutely,in order to fight aids, for instance,it's essential to let prostitutes have medical tests every week .Then to give the people, wether it are man or women, a proper sexual therapy and education, there should be ,next to legalisation ,a special institution where you can study ,combined with the knowledge of other cultures ,the art of prostitution. I reckon that prostitution is a tremendous tool to raise the worldpopulation without a lot of deadly viruses.how?because the prostitution keeps the wrongs genes and mental anomalies away from the healty part of society, and with the help of sexual therapy and education, you could bring a lot of people back to the healthy side.i'm a dutchman, and in my country it's legalized, sinds about 4 years.Of course there are still some problems to be solved; a lot of women are still operating illegaly ,mostly they come from thailand, russia, poland ,the former ddr=eastern germany, and taxes in the netherland are very high. But everyone who's in the business 's getting proper medical support .To start a study in the art of prostitution, however, is still surrounded with taboos, but not for long i hope.I reckon that prostitution is a essential tool to survive coming disasters as a species,it's not unlikely that, not to far, in the future we might face human extinction, perhaps

in my opinion prostitution should be legal. as long as it doesn't result in violence, prostitution is just another way to make some cash. if being a porn star is legal then prostitution should be too. the only difference between them is that prostitution is not in front of a camera, as when being a porn star you are in movies. if you travel to Nevada, U.S.A. prostitution is legal. the only city that it is illegal in Nevada is Las Vegas. still, if you drive two minutes outside of the city it is legal. in countries where prostitution is legal there are less violent crimes over the profession. this is due to its openness. these days in the U.S., much of the violent crime that happens with prostitutes is because they don't think that they get paid enough. this is because many of them have sex with poorer people who cant pay the desired amount. in a country where the practice is legal, the richer people hire the prostitutes and can pay, and that results in less violent crime.

I think it should be regulated and legal for the health and safety of the prostitutes. Maybe less would end up in a ditch if people actually took the time to register them. For goodness sake it's an ancient way to make money no law is just going to make it go away just because some people find it seedy.

Yes. It's the oldest profession and it'll never go away. In some countries where it's legal, it's required by law for the girls to be routinely be checked for transmittable diseases. The laws we have are outdated based on lingering puritan values. If the government could realize a tax source without a public outcry, it would be legal now.

A government that bans prostitution is forcing its morality on its people. I don't think a government should rule over issues without a victim. Prostitution is a moral issue, not a political issue.
Should it be legal? Yes.
Is it moral? That depends on the individuals character and beliefs.

God has never changed his standards. He views prostitution as worthy of death. And any man having relations with her should be put to death also. What you don't understand is that we are judged by God for our actions. Each thing we do and say is recorded. That record of our life will be read aloud to everyone on judgement day. You will either lose or gain your everlasting life....Why would anyone want to give up eternity in paradise for a few moments of lurid pleasure now.?
It isn't worth it. God gives everyone the opportunity to have this pleasure in a legal way. You have to marry. And you have to stay together. Foolish questions will put you in a bad light. Straighten up and be good.
