Ah that could be tricky , do you know their likes and dislikes? If they like to golf or fish or travel?
Gift certificates to plays, local theatre, are always good.
You know even a fruit basket or one of those Hickory Farms baskets are good too. Especially over the holidays for entertaining.
Depends on your budget as well.
Good wine , a Canadian ice wine is good but also expensive.
