Oy, leave it to a pagan from Down Under to cloud fact with fiction. Christianity hijacked Saturnalia from the heathen pagans of the day, rolled it around a bit & The Birth of Christ is now celebrated in December. As for the Magi, anyone would be parched after such a long journey so we can't really blame them for knocking back eight or ten mulsums, now can we? Besides, they'd just seen the MESSIAH. Long time, friend, long time. (((Eartha))) Peace, Bill

I was born a Catholic
the bible is a book of claims and as long as people allow the claim to become law, by genuinely believing in Christ and believing life will get better, the thieves go to work studying the claims of the bible, while the Christians peruse the holy way of living. But in doing so you allow others to pass there agenda not knowingly. In other words Christianity is the way but not the way you are lead to believe. These claim are not for the gentiles, the gentiles are being exploited. As you await the rapture as a way to escape, you will find yourselves in their destruction. Stop and look in our country, the rent, medical ins., the cost of food VR our wages , how much longer will it be that we are at work and living on the street

God becoming a human being is central to Christianity.

Without the Nativity there would be no Christianity.

The three (non-Jewish) Magi visiting the baby Jesus was one of the first signs that Christianity would reach out to the entire world.

With love in Christ.

The only impact it has on me is if you want to convert people to bible ways, then you should depict the nativity in a true setting.

Hi, I am always amazed at the total humility of Jesus Who could easily have chosen to be born into comfort and luxury but chose poverty instead, and the fact that His birth was not broadcast but revealed to the lowly.
