wow! Great question!
It depends on a lot of factors:
1. Would the contents of the book be fiction or something like a biography? Cause if we just put The DaVinci Code in there people in the future might get even more confused than we are.
2. Are people in the future gonna speak the same languages we speak now? I don't know...
3. Can the book survive all those years intact? I'm not so sure either. Maybe we can come up with some sort of material to preserve it. Either that or save a DVD or CD or something more advanced
Kisses

Not necessarily. Historians have found that an ancient Babylonian source detailing a god and how important he was was actually a false history by worshippers of a relatively unknown god - they wanted to big him up for future generations. Similarly, in ancient Egypt some pharohs/important political figures were all but obliterated from the historical record (the inscriptions of their names rubbed out etc) but we still know they existed. Archaeologists and historians should just be sure not to accept anything as fact.

Not really as by that time language would be totally different and there would be no concept of the true meaning of the book..only other peoples interpretation of the contents which would be totally wrong.....(sound familiar)?.......Merry Xmas.

It would probably be believed at first, then end up like the Bible - some believe in it , some think its a load of rubbish.

If the book contained ideas or theories that were provable, reasonable and unarguable truths, that were correct far beyond reasonable doubt, then Yes. *Smiles* What are you getting at?

I doubt that anyone will take The Cat in the Hat as factual...or at least I hope not.

well yeah we find old bits of parchment still now and we believe they give some idea of the past life, so yeah i'd think people would believe bits of it in millions of years.
