The twenties is a stage where hormones already kicked in, fashion trends are followed, up to date with music and technology etc. So the best gift would be cash and a card in a fancy envelope

Ipod is the in thing or one of the brand new phones with all the features to her use, if she is early twenties.
Mid twenties: a set of jewellery, gift box of expensive products
Late twenties: maybe a laptop if she doenst have one. or an item to use in the kitchen, here vouchers to a nice concert, spa, etc will do.

A great gift Idea for any age or gender is to find or write a poem, or favorite music lyrics, type it up and print it out on nice paper, then burn the edges, and put it in a nice picture frame. Well I don't know a good female gift (unless it's make up, mirrors panty hose) but I'd much rather have a gaming system like an Xbox 360 or Nintendo DS lite. gaming systems are fun for everyone.

If she doean't have an Ipod...get her a Ipod shuffle (just bought one for my little sister) holds about 240 songs for about 80 bucks. If she has a Ipod get her a gift card to ITunes. No I don't work for Apple :) I just think they Ipods work well as gifts! Hope this helps, good luck!

My sister is late twenties and i bought her a racing grannies set from Next. I hope she likes it.
You can go wrong with a basket of beauty gifts. I have quite a few sets stashed away in my bathroom cabinet. I try to remember who gave me what though so when i pass them on they don't get returned to sender :-)
