Do you think that Canada makes it worse for everyone with different religious beliefs to co-exist by restricting traditions, among other things, (i.e. the use of the word "Christmas", Christmas tree in government places, etc.) that have been here for quite some time? Restricting traditions for, say a Christian, in an attempt to 'please' another, say a Muslim, will create resentment (whether they admit it or not) from the 'group' that were forced to conform to this new colourless, non-distinct society, for fear of "offending" because of different religious beliefs and observances.
But we are exactly the opposite. We are all different and that is what makes it beautiful - why suppress it? Who is really getting offended?

ignores it as trainloads of "god's chosen" children get stripped naked and carted into the gas chambers? Get ripped away from their mothers, then shivering naked, cold and crying, get kicked in the head and dragged to their death by SS men? Tortured in experiments, then killed?
Where was God's miracles and parlor tricks then? Where were God's heroes whom he calls upon in Biblical times to save them?
There is no God, if there was, this God sucks.

How is an obese old hick in a tent revival with an old football injury more worthy than a small child of God's chosen who endured more suffering than anyone could ever imagine?

I am a self taught intermediate - upper intermediate speaker with conversational spanish. My wife and I had the privilege of staying in Costa Rica this past May for 2 weeks at a spanish language immersion program/school, as well as staying with a family. It was absolutely phenomenal!!!! My only regret is that I couldn't stay for a couple of months.

But the problem is it's soo hard to keep myself learning spanish until I'm fluent here in America because there's nothing but English around me all the time! Anyone have any suggestions of what may help me to get to an upper advanced to fluent level of speaking Spanish, short of moving to Puerto Rico or Costa Rica?

I'm also a struggling German-learning person. But do I find myself often stuck on the same daft doubts >-<

The sentences you're supposed to help me with are as follows:

1. So, you all pile into a small car knowing full well there's no law-abiding way you blokes can possibly fit into it.

2. he had about thirty pounds in his pocket, certainly comely for a pleasant day's outing.

3. And challenge there's, for if you don't have the necessary know-how and desirable skills your behind will be handed to you by level 7.

4. From a walnut coat rack in the corner of the dank room, a long physician's coat hung with a stethoscope poking out the partially concealed side pocket.

5. And all other evil things find their time better spent scampering back and forth, just waiting to be gunned down.

If a particular religion has legs to stand on, shouldn't joining said religion be something that an individual decides for him/herself? Why do some people/religions indoctrinate their children before those children are even old enough to truly understand what it is?

before i put detail please know two things first the people who answer the phycology questions wouldnt touch this one thats why i am putting it here second for those who watch the tv show full metal alchemist please know they were not the ones to come up with this theory it is written by a philosipher then rewritten by issac newton. now the theory states this "to obtain something of equal value must be lost, mankind will not gain without giving equally, those who do not give equally the first time will then be punished by losing something of heavy unequal value." how deep do you think this goes and how far can this philosiphy be taken? can it be used in life negotiations anything else. give examples.

I am sure I will up set some people in here with out meaning to mind you. But I have wondered that if the U.S. Government offered free of charge to send anyone the was a slaves decendant back to Africa how many would take them up on it. I have heard so much complaining out of African-Americans about how bad they have it in America I just wonder how many would go back where they originated since they seem to have it so bad here.
