I was doinmy Bible study and it had "medical descriptions" of Jesus death on the cross. it explained with vivid detail the pain he suffered from the cat of nine tails, which brought goose bumps down my spine, and how they beat him till he was unreconizeable, and then they nailed him to the cross and the pain he suffered for hours, and it brought tears to my eyes when i read it b/c he suffered for me and you and our sins, if you just read what i read youd cry to, its so sad and i really never thought about it that way,

but do you think people take lightly the actuall pain he suffered,
its not just ok he died on the cross for oour sins he suffered terribly for us and some people just put him down

Merry Christmas

if you wanna read what I read get Bible Docterines for today 10th grade Bible study from Abeka books and then go to the blue page that says Medical decriptions

I'm a christian, and therefore know that ten commandments are part of the christian teaching. But I was wondering, are the Thn Commandments part of the Jewish relighion as well?
I assume they are, since Jews (as i gather anyway, correct me if i'm wrong) have Moses as one of their main profiets, and it was moses who gave us those commandments.

I awoke this morning and turned on the news and what to my wondering eyes should appear an actual news story!!! New Jersey’s legislature is to pass civil unions and the governor will sign the bill.
Now math and spelling weren’t my best subjects in school and any time I attempt to do math I start pulling my hair out in clumps so lets see if I can do this with out becoming bald .
50 states 4 (VT, NH, Conn, NJ) have civil unions 1 ( MA) has marriage and 1( CA) has domestic partnerships. That would mean that 6 out of 50 have some form of gay unions or better than 10% WHAT HAPPENED !! Where is the outrage ! Call your congressmen! Check your flood insurance!
With all the money spent on PACs, advertisement and just generally being a pain in the key string. Evangelical Christians seem to be losing this argument. So I have compiled a list of new hobbies evangelicals could be more productive with as political action doesn’t seen to be working out.

It seems the prejudice, bigtroy and self-righteousness is alive and well and much of it stems from religious intolerance. Has the concept of religion outlived it's useful purpose to society? Is it now causing more harm than good?

What made you decide to become a satanist?
What path do you follow, and what are your main beliefs?
Do you make your beliefs public, or keep them quiet?
How do your beliefs affect your day to day life?

Thanks for your responses :o)

Please, NO-ONE post any anti-Satanic posts about how all Satanists need to find the Bible or anything. I am well aware of Christian religious beliefs, and I am not posting this question to learn more about them. Any such responses will be reported to Yahoo as spam: 'Not a question or an answer', since they are not answers to my questions. Many thanks for your co-operation.

What was god's insentive for creating the world we live on? If you say that it was his destiny, then you are implying that god is bound by destiny and that destiny is more powerful than an omnipotent god. Scince desire is completely a human aspect, then why did he do it?

Then we could all go there and make fun of believers. They'd never know what we were saying about them, because most would be too "skeeeered" to look in that category and read intelligent questions.
