No, but, it is not very polite. I mean, the whole reason that you go to church is to further your relationship with God. And, if He really is number 1 in your life and you want to live for him, if He is the passion in your life, than, shouldn't you think more of Him than to fall asleep in His house?

No... it's no sin to sleep in church but b/c the preacher might feel offended by assuming his/her sermon isn't worth hearing... that's when he/she will mention something about it to make you feel so bad about what you did to even make you feel like it's a sin. This of course if the work of man.. not God. I think God has other important things to worry about that to be concerned with you/us sleeping in church. LOL!

No. God knows the heart, and he knows that you made the effort of going. So even if you can not make it through the service. The fact that you tried should be good enough, but try to make sure that you do everything in your power to prevent sleeping in church. Like getting the best rest that you can,and try to stay interested.

I always sleep in church. I'm atheist, so I don't care. I just go because Mom makes me.

Of course not, is bad manners. Even the disciples fell asleep when Jesus prayed in the Garden of Getsemani before His crucifixion.
We are only humans. . .

if come prepared, and with an open heart, then you are not likely to sleep. and yes, it is a sin, because you are not paying reverence to God.
