I am sure I will up set some people in here with out meaning to mind you. But I have wondered that if the U.S. Government offered free of charge to send anyone the was a slaves decendant back to Africa how many would take them up on it. I have heard so much complaining out of African-Americans about how bad they have it in America I just wonder how many would go back where they originated since they seem to have it so bad here.

I'm sure none of them would want to go to Africa. They can't get all the special privileges there that they have here. Here they are treated like a minority, when in reality the whites have become the minority and are still forced to pay higher taxes so that "the minorities" can live on welfare.

Probably none. They know that there is no social welfare over there. Also there are no lions over here.

edit:

Let me remind everyone before this goes too far. 3/4 of the white Europeans in the country (USA) in 1776 were slaves or indentured servants. They were all slaves in Europe. If you were not of nobel blood, then you belonged to the land that you lived on. If the property that you lived on was sold-you went with it. Slavery or servanthood/ship, call it what you will, has always been the way people worked. Some better, some not so good.

I do not think they have it so bad. We all have equal rights and the rights to the opportunities that the United States has to offer. You just need to apply your self to work and the great education that this country has to offer. There are many opportunities for Africans, Caucasians,Spanish,. Why do you think alot of people migrate to the United States.

Um....not everywhere in Africa is some sandy plain full of starving people begging for American help.
My family wouldn't go back. Why? Because we just got here in the 80's! (Yeah, some of us came here by choice.)

Hmm. Let me understand this. The whites earn a fortune making black slaves work, the blacks complain and you are expecting them to go back to from where they were brought? Why not hand them over those ill gained fortunes to the blacks and send the whites to where they came from instead?

So what you are really saying is if African - Americans aren't prepared to accept prejudice and abuse in their own country they ought to return to the land of their ancestors.
