Where was God's miracles and parlor tricks then? Where were God's heroes whom he calls upon in Biblical times to save them?
There is no God, if there was, this God sucks.
How is an obese old hick in a tent revival with an old football injury more worthy than a small child of God's chosen who endured more suffering than anyone could ever imagine?

God can be found in the design of our existence / reality...
We are God.. in the sense that we chose this human existence... as Gods.. probably to feel things we couldn't feel as God(s).
We are purposely designed to be a bit ignorant and incapable of comprehending "God" on an intellectual level so that our human experience is that much more intense and profound.
The biggest mistake our culture makes is believing that God was only one human. It's an old song, just like all the wars that have been fought over this subject alone.
While hope this clears things up for someone out there... I know that we aren't capable of complete clarity with this topic.

One it is in your imagination that God does parlor tricks saving wretches like us by allowing himself to be tortured and killed. WE ARE NOT IN GOD'S KINGDOM..read the Bible where was God's people taught that this is the world we are made for? The question you are asking is the same as those asking Christ If you are God save yourself. It is a lack of understanding and this truth is available to all who seek it in God's word.

Did those people that got killed, did they have unwavering faith? Did they engage in prayer?Did they call on the name of Jesus?
