We must first of all know that the entire Bible is corrupted and unreliable and is mostly filled with man-made laws and corruption! GOD Almighty Said: "`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

The Revised Standard Version makes it even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. (From the RSV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

In either translation, we clearly see that the Jews had so much corrupted the Bible with their man-made cultural laws, that they had turned the Bible into a lie!

See Also Deuteronomy 31:25-29 where Moses peace be upon him predicted the corruption/tampering of the Law (Bible) after his death.

The Book of Moses predicted that the Law (Bible) will get corrupted. The Book of Jeremiah which came approximately 826 years after did indeed confirm this corruption.

Let us look at Song of Solomon 8:10 "Dear brothers, I'm a walled-in virgin still, but my breasts are full— And when my lover sees me, he knows he'll soon be satisfied."

She is a virgin with full swelling breasts. When her lover meets her, he will be satisfied from those swelling breasts! Obviously, she is referring to licking, sucking and other pornographic things that I can't mention here. Believe me this verse is not talking about them worshiping GOD Almighty together when they meet!! It is clearly and indisputably referring to graphic sex that involves her swelling breasts and other things such as intercourse.


Let us look at Song of Songs 4:5 "Your two breasts are like two fawns, like twin fawns of a gazelle that browse among the lilies."

Let us look at Song of Songs 1:13 "My lover is to me a sachet of myrrh resting between my breasts."

Praising the bed that they had sex on: Let us look at Song of Songs 1:16 "How handsome you are, my lover! Oh, how charming! And our bed is verdant"

Let us look at Song of Songs 1:2-4 "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth-- for your love is more delightful than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the maidens love you! Take me away with you--let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love (i.e., semen) more than wine. How right they are to adore you!" I don't think this would be appropriate for a kid under 18 to read. Also, I don't think it is appropriate to have such open sexuality in a divine book anyway.

His right arm sexually feeling her body: Let us look at Song of Songs 2:6 "His left arm is under my head, and his right arm embraces me."

Let us look at Song of Songs 3:4 "Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother's house, to the room of the one who conceived me." So in other words, she was not married to him, and when she found him, she took him back to her bed room to have illegal sex with him? If she were married to him, she wouldn't take him to her "mother's house". She would take him to their house.

Let us look at Song of Songs 3:10 "Its posts he made of silver, its base of gold. Its seat was upholstered with purple, its interior lovingly inlaid by the daughters of Jerusalem." Why does the Bible teach young men to spend all of their time and effort to try to impress all of the girls in their town so they can possibly end in bed with them?

this is a hypothetical question, so don't anyone stain their britches before you here me out

what if the bible and christian theology all said mostly the same as it does now, but never mentions a heaven and just stated that god would help you out in THIS life if you believed in him.

Would you live the life prescribed in the bible (denying sexual impulses, give to the needy) if the bible said that if you did those things, god would look out for you in this life, not an afterlife?
would living god's will still be worth it or would it be a dealbreaker?

What part of the constitution do you think gives anyone the right to not be offended?

Why do we have so many laws governing behavior in a free country?

Why do people not tolerate the behavior in others that they themselves display?

How do you know when the majority is correct in a society so set on preserving the interests of the minority?

Wouldn't an imposition by any majority be seen as an act of ---ism?

Basically, at what level of behavior should the government be allowed to assert control of the public?

How should those decisions be made? By who?

Final.... would you be willing to live with a law that was voted on by popular referrundum nation wide if your side lost? How long would that good sportsmanship last before you strated trying to change the result?

I am a Christian, but any Christmas theme relates to Christ and violates the seperation of chuch and state. I know that having a Christmas related item on display in a government building doesn't make that country only Christian, but, at the same time, its symbolic of that. Be a Christian, and be it loudly, but keep it out of the government or some one within that government will abuse the glory of Christ for their benefit by saying that everything they're doing is ordained by Christ. That's what happened in the Middle Ages. The Catholic church back then was a political institution, not a church. This is what I think, though. What about you?

This is a true story. I just got back from a business trip. On the way to my first destination the plane was delayed and pretty much everything went wrong. We ended up stuck in a holding pattern circling over a rather interesting looking power plant. I was getting tired and bored and the plane was very uncomfortable... I grew tired of looking at the power plant so i opened the book i had with me and started reading. I had only begun reading when all of a sudden the captain came on the intercom and told us that we were coming out of holding and would arive at our destination shortly....

What book do you think i started reading when just before this fortunate turn of events?

Does end of the law mean - to end the law, as in to end slavery. Or does it mean it is at the end of a list of laws, or what else could it mean?

"To have faith" - to have (exercise) faith in what? That Jesus is our saviour, or to have faith that Jesus' messages are true, surely this verse is referring to a specific thing or message to have faith in.

Of course it is good to have faith in both. But what does this verse mean when it says to have faith?

Maybe I'm wrong on this, but in Canada they're taking down the Christmas in the City Hall because of complaints from other religions that goes against them.
I say, if you don't like the customs, don't come to the country.
Why should they be respected when these religions come to us and don't respect us?
