Never, but I think religion is an important factor in a relationship no matter what. It's just the way the cookie crumbles. Sadly someone will have something something against the other's religion because some people don't understand that their religion is absolute and perfect.
It is important to discuss religion in a relationship, but it should never be the dominant factor for a relationship.

No never. Im agnostic and my partner is Christian though. Every year he still puts up the Christmas Tree and i respect that. We dont buy each other presents though. Instead i just enjoy spending the day with him and our family.
Never has he tried to push his Christianity on me nor have I tried to get him to understand my beliefs. We just quietly "agree to disagree" about the whole thing and leave it at that. Regardless of race, religion or any other belief we just love each other no matter what.

Good question, yes. Only I was the one in the wrong, I broke up with my bf because he was a christian. six months later I became a christian. My x-bf rejoiced with me, but was in an different relationship, one he ended up getting married in... I know he wasn't right for me, but I always wish I had been able to see the light of my ways sooner, and have been able to get over myself intime to overcome the difference and fall inlove with JESUS CHRIST. But I know everything is in God's hands, and that I am blessed to be where I am.
God bless, and merry Christmas

It's never broken up one of my relationships, but it has probably prevented some without me even realizing it. It certainly has potential to break up relationships, depending on the people.
To me, it doesn't matter so much which religion they are, but more how open-minded and reasonable they are.

Well Bluto is an Atheist but it really wasn't that. It was that damn Popeye with his his spinach that did it. My hero. Then along came Sweet Pea and there was no choice after that. OO.

No, and I think it's a tragedy to let religion, race, or age (as long as it's legal) come between love.

actually no....but I'm an atheist who would not care what someone else I truly cared about believed in so that shouldn't be a big shock.
