Ummm... so I just came to the conclusion that im bisexual. Now im having one more problem, Im in love with a friend that is as straight as an arrow, and I know that I will never have a chance with her (it hurts to say that). I've decided that the only way to get my mind off of her is to find another girl to go out with. I guess my question is "How do I get a girlfriend?"

It really blows my mind how people are so used to being sexist that they don't even recognize that they're doing it. What I mean is this: A girl can wear guy's clothes, borrow guy's jackets, and even act like a guy without being accused of being gay. A guy, on the other hand, can't imitate a girl (in a teasing way), hold their girlfriend's purse, or even be sensitive towards girls without being asked if they're gay. My friend (won't say his name) is always accused of being gay. But he's not; he just knows how to be sensitive towards girls, and knows he doesn't always have to act like a perverted twit. Because of this, everyone accuses him of being gay. Another friend of mine was helping me blow up balloons, and afterwards, he said that he was just tired because he'd been sucking in a lot of air. Instantly, someone goes, "WHOA! Is there something we need to know about you?"
It just annoys me how a guy can't do much lest their sexuality be questioned, yet a girl can do anything.

I am told I have a high degree of general knowledge. No difference to the rest of my family. We are all baby boomers. My children appear to be similar relative to their ages, 20 to 31yrs old.
Why then do I see such a large gap in many of society today. Just take a look at the questions in this forum from around the world.
Is it because we have become a culture of specialists and focus on such a small portion of life that we don't have time to learn.
Maybe we only have a very narrow window through main stream media for our general knowledge, or is it as a culture we are just not interested in gaining knowledge that is outside of what we are fed...

what would you do if your son/daughter was sucked into a cult? christianity, or any kind
I wouldnt mind having an homosexual kid, nothing wrong with that, and as a biologist I can tell you that, but I wouldnt like to have religion cloud their judgement

If he is so powerful and almighty then we would ALL be born knowing about him, believing in him, and have proof, and no questions about him and which religion is correct.
I know that if I was able to create a universe and people I'd want them to all know who I was and how to worship me!

...what ever happened to people KNOWING that the earth was flat? Believing in Zeus, Athena, etc?...oh yeah, science. Do you think that will happen again?
