Ummm... so I just came to the conclusion that im bisexual. Now im having one more problem, Im in love with a friend that is as straight as an arrow, and I know that I will never have a chance with her (it hurts to say that). I've decided that the only way to get my mind off of her is to find another girl to go out with. I guess my question is "How do I get a girlfriend?"

O My Goodness… I was in a similar situation almost a year ago, although I wasn’t in love with someone; however I was looking for a woman to date. I met my first girlfriend online (AOL is much better than yahoo). I suggest you ask yourself what you are looking for in a relationship. Also are you in the closest and clues, or are you open and expressive? These characteristics will also determine where you’ll search and how quickly you will meet someone. I mean if you are looking for something serious, then it will be a little harder finding it online. I say that because most of the chat rooms are dedicated for sexual fiends, however if that’s right up your ally then go for it. I’m a little bit more conservative, but not uptight. Although I identify myself as being bi; I’m also very much in the closet per say. Most people think that if you’re bi then you must have promiscuous behavior, but that’s quite the contrary for me. I’m trying to develop somewhat of a support group in my state (which isn’t taking off very well, but open to anyone that fits the criteria, so please check out), so I suggest that you open up your own group specifying some of the qualities that your looking for and maybe your special one or special midnight freak will come along in due time. I hope this helps and feel free to e-mail or i.m me. By the way this is the group I was talking about http://groups.yahoo.com/group/the_arkansas_lesbian_group/. You have to start some where.

You are in the same boat as a lot of bisexual women. Which makes me wonder why on earth we have such a hard time finding eachother.

I truthfully wish I had an answer for you. There are a lot of techniques...either outgoing, let everyone know you're Bi and they come to you...or quietly just tell that one special person and see what she says.

You can go to bars, places where gays/bis meet.

Good luck to you.
