Then it really wouldn't be too heavenly anymore, would it? If the wicked brought their wickedness with them, how would it differ from hell?

Suppose Bill Gates said you are welcomed to go eat Christmas dinner with him. Would it make it so? Of course not, you would have to go there and enter his house and sit down at the table to do so.
GOD has already declared that HE is not willing for any to perish so the invitation to heaven IS open to the best of the best and the worst of the worst.
1 John 2
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Going back to the Bill Gates thing for a moment, in order to do this, you would have to go to the right address .
To spend eternity in heaven....you have to enter the right door.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Heaven is open to anyone, best of the best and "worst" of the worst. God created everything and everyone, and everything that God creates is good! Don't you remember how Jesus hung out with the taxpayers and the lepers? People probably would be mad, but they shouldn't care. They should be happy that they're brothers and sisters are with them in heaven.

To share heaven with Moses, Einstien, Abraham Lincoln would be fantastic. But to also share heaven with Hitler, Manson, Gacey and the like? Heaven would just be another hell.
Where's the justice in that the wicked are punished?

Th worst of the worst would have to change in order for it to be much of a heaven. If so, then that's a great idea.

People would be outraged. I mean, that's the ultimate insult to ultimate justice. Take away the "good for the good" and the "punishment for the bad" and people will say "but noooooo, there MUST be some kind of horrible place for villains to go after death, it's only FAIR".
Then again, who says life (and the afterlife, if there is such a thing) is "fair"?

Then it wouldn't matter if people believed in God or not. That would be great. Then people could get on with their lives in the universe.
