I am not a part of any religion, I have christian beliefs which means I know what God expects from me so therefore I try to follow them and it seems to be working for me. I don't attend any church because I do not want to get caught up in false doctrine so I pray that God himself by the Holy Spirit teach me truth. I know this sounds strange but I only know what I know because of this and of course reading the Bible. There's been times that I've had questions and as I am explaining to someone else, the answer will come and I'll speak it out but it's not because I am that smart and figured it out. It's my voice of course but I know that I am not that smart to figure it out, if I was I wouldn't question things to begin with .

I am Buddhist. I do not have beliefs or a God or a Deity, even the Lord Buddha Himself is not considered a Deity.

I follow the Lord Buddha's eightfold Path, I contemplate and recognise the 4 Noble Truths and adhere to the 5 Noble Virtues. I do this to evolve not because anybody tells me to or threatens me with eternal whatever it is, but because I want to evolve as do all living things. I also do this because I wish to free myself from the eternal cycle of rebirth and suffering to which all humans are subject.

I require no proofs for it is in contemplative meditation and concentrated effort that I will find the truths in the Dharma (Buddha's Teachings) self evident and hopefully through my own effort attain insight enough to reach an enlightened state where I can rid myself of physical and mental cravings thereby ridding myself of suffering. If I can achieve this state of mental and physical serenity then I will ultimately realise the truth of my existence as essentially transient and all sensory experience as temporary and ultimately self serving and therefore irrelevant to my evolution as a unique being.

Peace...

You people always get me. You ask for proof of God. If God had provided proof, there would be no discussion right now would there. He ask that you believe in Him through faith. He wants you to accept His Son Jesus and accept your redemption because of Jesus and what is written of Him during His years on earth. Jesus was God Almighty in human form. He came and He did what God does and let others write about it in a book we have been given as a guide for living. Absolutely nothing in the Bible has ever been proved false. Doesn't that mean something to anyone? A document thousands of years old with that much wisdom in it and people still doubt it. That amazes me more than anything. It's because most people who do doubt it have never read it and I don't mean a few verses but actually investigated it. Nothing is more amazing than the rules God gave each of us for living a spiritual life free from sin. Yes, we sin every day but those of us who are Christian, have a way to be forgiven and we honestly try hard, very hard not to sin. We are forgiven because God loves us. That is what God does and is .......... Love...

Independent Christian. At age 15 I discovered the Sabbath and realized that Christmas was Pagan. I became non-religious. After the Vietnam experience, I had a vision that changed the course of my life. I re-ordered my life according to scripture (Old and New Testaments). After reading the Bible 9 times I realized that what the Bible teaches is in most cases the diametric opposite to what the religions of this world teaches. And the larger the organization generally the more corrupt it is because it refuses to change and do things God's way.

Proof that God exists?

Fulfilled prophecy.

I am a Lutheran! I believe that by the grace of God and through faith I am saved. I believe because I have always believed. I also believe that all religions are really believing in the same God, just in our different ways. My real proof is faith, you know very well that no one can prove or disprove that there is a God.

Eclectic Wiccan Witch. I revere nature and believe in the God and Goddess. To me they exist because they are a part of nature, they are in nature.

Christian. God called me at a young age. My parents don't really follow God. But He stil made it to my heart. 12 years of faith in Him have made my faith so much stronger. He's a good God and He can be trusted.
