I have a very good friend who is a born-again christian. I have tried to attend church with her, but I do not feel I fit in there. I do believe in God and I do pray and live a good life. I have a baby boy who just turned a year old. I told her I am taking him to get his picture with Santa and she freaked out. She got so upset and said "what are you teaching your child". She says to tell him that it is the time we celebrate Jesus coming into the world. He will have Santa and gifts and a tree and that is that. Why would this upset her so much. She also freaked out when I put a halloween costume on him. I don't get this. Let kids be kids. Any thoughts on this??

Like counting it as one of your true experiences. Consider the fact that, there is no actual physical touch whatsoever. If you are virgin, then you will still be a virgin after the chat.

It's been said that "unless a person knows all things about everything that one can know nothing about anything." Let's say we know X, Y, and Z about the universe. The earth is round. The sun is a star. Your wife cooks good. But we don't know A about the universe. A tells us that X, Y, and Z plus everything else we know are all lies. How do you know your chair doesn't turn into a platypus when you leave the room? How can you trust your senses? It seems to be impossible to know anything unless there is an "all know-er" who reveals portions of his knowledge to us. My head hurts.

It seems like everything that everyone does with their lives revolves around hatred for some group of people. Why can't we just learn to love each other?

The creation process here on earth such as bringing ideas into physical form is accellerated by circles, clubs, committees, think tanks, "secret" societies?, churches, militaries, and so on.

Of course you can argue that there is strength in numbers, but there seems to be more to it than that.

If we all "choose" our own path, why the desire to sacrifice, conform, and fit in? Even if we know that self-revelation and paradigm changing is a personal battle?

Maybe someone could clear this up in their own words.

The positives. Do you feel as if you should drop the plans you have and go dish soup at a homeless shelter, or perhaps you feel compelled to purchase gifts for the neighbors who kept you awake for 74% of the preceding year throwing wild parties and swearing to you it would never happen again...Just a rhetorical question.Answer..Enjoy....Believe.

I mean i dont want to say i disbelive but, many,if not too many people belive that its gods fault for our exstiense, or beign homosexual, and a criminal. thay blame not themselves but demons and angels whan something good happens or bad, to me they only leave their apprehanssions to an athropomorphic entity.
im not asking for "truth" since truth is percieved differently, but opinions.

I know this mother that is so close to her 60 year old son. She has a picture of him @ 60 years of age on her key chain. She also has another photo with him and her hand is on his lap. She always talks about him day and night. Even when she dreams about him she wakes up yelling his name. As a housekeeper, they even go on vacations together, and I talked to her friends, and they said when the go on vacation "they play with each other". Can this mother and son really being sharing the same bed.
And when they stare at each other across the table it's as if they are in love with each other and communication like lovers. Would sleeping with mom be elder abuse? Or your thoughts?
He never did get married. He's gay.
Yes, the mother is 90 years of age, and he even massages her feet every night before going to bed. I've seen it.

return to your source? If it were to happen here and now, what attitude would you have when you came face to face with the ultimate human reality? Is there darkness? light? or something stranger that is yet unimagined by you? How will you react to this inevitable change in your perception?
