Most definately the Bible! First of all, if you were on a deserted island, you'd be a tad distraught, no? Reading from the Bible gives you strength. 2) You could never get tired of it because there is a new way to look at it every time you read it. 3) The Bible is not only religious but a great work of literature--there are literary passages of all kinds collaborated in the Bible--genealogies, parables, narratives, poetry, lyrical psalms...what can beat all that?

Well, since I am Jewish/Christian the Bible IS about my culture, history. The Bible is a very interesting book to read and study. I have read it many times and come out with some new gift from God on each reading. I could not imagine any other book being such a blessing & inspiration to me while stranded.

I would choose the Bible because God's words are more important than man's words. BTW the Bible does talk about the history of my family and my culture.

The Bible, because personally I dont care as much in my family and history and culture and all that other stuff as I do in the Bible.

The Bible. You can read a novel and know the story. You can read the Bible over and over and learn something new every time-and something worth knowing. Just think-if you read it enough-you just might get a handle on Daniel and Revelations.

Hell, I'd be grateful just to have something to read. But if I had a choice, I'd choose the history book or, better yet, a good poetry anthology.

There's a Monster at the end of this Book.

why?

The suspense, each page turned as you eagerly anticipate your own demise only to find out in the end that it was grover all along. Oh I have goosebumps just thinking about it.

The Bible. I believe that God talks to me through His word. And I would need His help soooo much in this situation. I am such a scaredy cat and He has promised never leave me alone.

I think I would choose the Bible because it's like looking into deep clear water, first you see the surface, then you see a bit of depth, then you can see the really deep meaning.
