My Husband and I don't have very much money to spend this Christmas, because I had to help my Grandmother pay for my Grandpa's funeral expenses and it really hurt the bank account.

He and I have decided to concentrate on the children in our family, since we think thats what Christmas is about, and are spending most of our Christmas money on my young siblings, and nieces and nephews. We have decided to only buy very close adult family members gifts.

I still want to get my Husband a few nice Christmas gifts, since it is our first Christmas together since we got married, but I can't spend very much money either. I know that I know my Husband better than anyone, but I am looking for some unique or personal gift ideas that don't cost alot?

Maybe something that I can "make", nothing really cheap or silly, but something romantic or personal?

Just any gift ideas that don't cost a fortune would be great!

Thanks to everyone! Merry Christmas!

I believe there is a friendly presence in my house, and I want to contact him. I believe his name is Michael, and he was the previous resident of my house. He was believed to have died in my current dining room (it used to be a bedroom). How do I hold a seance to contact him, and should I do it in my dining room?

Another prophecy which Muslim scribes apply to Muhammad is that of Jesus regarding the coming of a “helper” or “comforter”. Says Ali, in his footnote comment on Sura 3:81: “In the New Testament as it now exists Muhammad is foretold in the Gospel of St. John 14:16; 15:26; and 16:7. The future Comforter cannot be the Holy Spirit as understood by Christians, because the Holy Spirit already was present, helping and guiding Jesus.”

However, note that Jesus said that his going away would make his apostles orphans, but not for long, as the “spirit of truth”, the paraclete, the “helper” or “comforter”, was to come. He further told them that they would be baptized with this spirit of truth “not many days after this” and that they were to remain in Jerusalem until this spirit came. Surely all these promises and commands would not make sense if the apostles were to wait six centuries until Muhammad came.

Yes the pieces all fit together and the problem about the wolves has been solved. I believe as I always believed the wolf is my guide through life. Also I would like to say it was a great honor to experience what I did.
Now that was a curiosity that did not kill the cat.
P.S. I put it in the relegious spirituality part from lack of a proper place such as weird happenings.

Well I know not all Muslims come from the Middle East, but you can answer this as a hypothetical question. Do you think that Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, you make considerations for other cultures and religions e.g. Judaism and Christianity and western cultures? I've heard many stories of when Christians or Jewish people go there; they are heavily stigmatized by the rest of society and feel like they are not welcome there. Also when different cultures come there, they have to within the boundaries of Islamic law e.g. they not be able to show their legs or arms or other parts, whilst in the west, you can pretty much wear what you want regardless of your religion or culture.
Most people will agree with me that the western world encourages people practice their religion and has provided many things to ensure that these other cultures can exist with the main culture.

God didn't need someone to create him, so why would it be necessary for someone to have created the universe? Why couldn't the universe *just exist* like God supposedly does?

Your e' has not been confirmed. Here is Joe Cool's answer: As J. Cool, I not only do the snow dance, I also have taught the 3rd graders I tutor to do such.
Early on, Christians held all sorts of beliefs. About 4 centuries after Jesus, a series of creeds or faith statements were made: Nicene came first, Apostles - because it reflected what the A. believed, and Athanasius from St. Ath. Few Christians have heard of Ath. so I used to haul it out each year for them to use. Anyhow, I believe the 3 Creeds defining Christianity, and I am a charismatic, Lutheran pastor who wants to sing for Joy over the love of God. What about you?
