I am a seeker and always interested in reading about various religious beliefs and theologies as I always learn more about my own religious history. I've recently begun reading the Book of Mormon and I understand that the original golden tablets were stored for a couple thousand years in stone inside the earth before being found and translated. Are these original golden tablets on display in a museum? I have yet to discover their whereabouts and I'm earnestly seeking. Thanks in advance for your help.

Some fat old lady complained that she could see the southpole when I was up at the alter praying last Sunday. But I think she's a liar. Shouldn't we women just be allowed to look wear what we want and look sexy at church just like anywhere else?

I purchased the Pimsleur CDs to learn some basic Japanese for my Japanese excursion this summer. Problem is, I am at unit 3 out of 18, and I have a hard time remembering what I learned after the 30-minute lesson is over. I do just find recalling during the program. I even repeat the program 1 or 2 times. Why can't I learn a foreign language?

Christians, why is it that if something good happens to you, that God must have done it? And, if something bad happens, it must have been the devil? Can't something good or bad, just happen? Does it always have to be one or the other? Also, and this is going to sound rude, but it's the only way I know to ask, so forgive, please? Is it possible that Satan could just be a scapegoat? A way for God not to have to be the one who causes pain, or allows bad things to happen to you? And, if this is untrue, why would God allow the devil to cause you pain, if you are his child? I would never take a backseat and let someone harm my child. Do you not feel the same way?

Is this becasue the postal worker automaticaly thought that i was against religion? i would have like a christian one, but it turns out they dont have any. I'm not racist, or religionist, or whatever hating people who celebrated kwanza is called, but I think it's unfair for them to have a stamp, and I dont. The question: Why do you think the united states post office carries kwanza stamps, and not christian ones?

The most important part of the translation that I'm interested in, are the quoted texts.

How big was the arc? The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
Just keep in mind how cubits was measured, and take in mind Noah was a gaint, making the arc allot bigger than you think....
How did all the animals know to get to the arc? Animals have an instinct that warns them before the time of danger, the world was about to be flooded, the animals knew that (insticnt), so they ran to safety (the arc).
How could all those animals fit? 2 of each animal, male and female, could have been baby animals, they have a better chance of survival, and after the flood they will live longer to reproduce, and not so much food was needed to feed them. Also, no insects, insects arent classified of being alive in the biblicle sense, and insects can survive any flood.
What about deseases on the arc? Pre-world flood was very diffirent to what we live in today, there was no deseases.

Does this make sense???
