Is this becasue the postal worker automaticaly thought that i was against religion? i would have like a christian one, but it turns out they dont have any. I'm not racist, or religionist, or whatever hating people who celebrated kwanza is called, but I think it's unfair for them to have a stamp, and I dont. The question: Why do you think the united states post office carries kwanza stamps, and not christian ones?

Lady Madonna is not a christian icon, she's a catholic icon. Christianity does not worship idols like this.

Sometimes they don't have Diet Coke with Cherry at the 7-11. It's not the Evil Atheist Conspiricy at work. Diet Cherry Coke is popular

The Postal Service prints a variety of stamps so people can have choices. The madonna and child stamps are supposed to be for all Christians, not just Catholics - Protestants think Mary was Jesus's mother, and since they are celebrating a birth, the mother is definitely involved!

Actually the secular Christmas stamps (snowflakes this year) usually outsell the religious ones by a wide margin - something like 5 to 1.

Your post office should also have Hannukah stamps and stamps with motorcycles, Disney characters, quilts, baseball players, superheroes, etc., plus Judy Garland and Ronald Reagan and the Purple Heart. Surely there is some stamp at the post office you'd really like - ask what "commemoratives" they have.

They do carry them. They just ran out. When I went today, the choices were supposed to be Christian/Catholic (virgin mary), Kwanza, Snowflake, something in Arabic, and a few others from major religions. They just gave me the snowflake generically without asking or assuming anything - which is what I wanted anyway.

Edit: Oh, are you saying the the virgin has nothing to do with your religion? I'm sorry, I must have missed something. It had jesus on it - what, do you want one per denomination? Wouldn't that make it about 30,000 different stamps?

The Christian Stamps are the most popular and so its not surprising that they were out. If you local post office is out of the stamps you like, then you can order by phone.

At stamps.com you can print stamps with whatever you want on them! I'd suggest paying a visit, and CHRIST IT UP!

Heaven forbid Christians not be fairly represented in the postal service fee mechanism.

ill cry with you when you no longer have a national holiday in direct defiance of the freedoms your country was founded on.

oh yea, and it's a secular holiday, as Kwanzaa has nothing to do with religion.
