You can learn a foreign language. You just need to find a way to practice and memorize that works for you.
First, Japanese is not a western language, and so the words don't seem to have any relationship to English, like European languages do.
Also, one 30 minute lesson can't teach you that much. You need to spend a few hours a day listening, and then a few more hours practicing speech.
Find a partner to help you study, preferably a Japanese speaker. Go to a bookstore and find a Japanese workbook for writing (or on the web), see if you can get one for the particular CD Series you are using.
That way, every day, you can listen, speak, memorize, write, and converse with a partner. If you can do this 2 to 4 hours every day for a few months, then you'll be speaking, reading and writing Japanese.
When you get to japan, you will have a lot of people willing to help you make your Japanese better.
Good Luck.

It's the wrong way round. Australia does not such as you to get a different citizenship upon getting end up Australian. If you're already a Japanese citizen then you are going to be allowed to end up Australian. It all relies on the order you do matters and thus far you're doing it proper. If you wish extra understanding then move to the Australian executive sight and it will have to let you know approximately it.

Maybe you're more of a visual person. I can't remember anything said to me for more than about ten minutes, it seems, but I have near-perfect recall with anything written. Also, when switching over o something really odd like Japanese...I'm a grammar person, and I had to tackle the basic grammatical structure of Japanese before any of the rest of it made sense to me. Living Languages makes a nice sort of textbook with such lingustic ins and outs.

if you don't have any Asian blood in you, you will never be able to learn this language. It was scientifically proven. However, at least you have eyebrows!
