My Husband and I don't have very much money to spend this Christmas, because I had to help my Grandmother pay for my Grandpa's funeral expenses and it really hurt the bank account.
He and I have decided to concentrate on the children in our family, since we think thats what Christmas is about, and are spending most of our Christmas money on my young siblings, and nieces and nephews. We have decided to only buy very close adult family members gifts.
I still want to get my Husband a few nice Christmas gifts, since it is our first Christmas together since we got married, but I can't spend very much money either. I know that I know my Husband better than anyone, but I am looking for some unique or personal gift ideas that don't cost alot?
Maybe something that I can "make", nothing really cheap or silly, but something romantic or personal?
Just any gift ideas that don't cost a fortune would be great!
Thanks to everyone! Merry Christmas!

Why don't you create a memory book of the two of you. Make sure to include pictures of you guys and tickets (reciets) of places that you have been. If you're really feeling creative include a cd with songs that are special or remind you of him. :)

I made my husband a muffler and cap last Christmas. I had not crocheted or knitted anything in 30 years but he was thrilled with the fact I made it. Now he cannot wait for cold weather to don his cap.
Crocheting goes pretty fast and a muffler is the easiest thing in the world.

Well, do keep the ring (in a way). Tell Hubby, you can't wear it, you want a ring you can wear. Take it back with him in tow and exchange it for one you will be proud to wear. He should understand that.

If you think about it I suspect you will decide that he doesn't actually need any material objects and if he did he would just go out and buy them himself.
My strong suggest is rent a hotel room somewhere nice (but not too expensive), bring some sexy outfits and give yourselves an experience that you will remember always.
If my wife did that it would make my year!!!
