And don't try with the "but we do look forward to it!" When someone says "I have 4 weeks to live" Christians don't say "hurrah! You're going home!"

It's probably lack of deep-down faith, dude.

You dont know what you are talking about, and noe you are pissing me off. I am a christian, and have been minutes away from death, and looking forward to it. I have had loved ones, one imparticular, who are on their death bed, and are excited to die, because they know exactly where they are going. I literally cant wait to die, because I will never have to fear man, hunger, violence, abuse, or anything else again. I will be comforted by my creator and savior. Do you remember the girl at columbine who had a gun pointed to her head, and was asked if she believed in God? She said yes. She knew she was going to heaven, and wasnt scared. She did not hesitate, because she knew that when she died, she was going to heaven. You need to learn some tact, my brother. I know a good obediance school, that will be a start.

First off, I want to be in heaven with Jesus more than anything in the world. That being said, God will take me in His time. Until then there is work I need to finish here and when I'm done, God will take me home.

if christians are "going home" then why can't they remember "home"? the thing is when we weren't alive, we had no consciousness, and when we die, we enter that state again. simple as that. we just can't even fathom not having control of ourselves, or not having thoughts once our brain stops. it's not within our human ability to be able to conceive such an idea because it is a human, an animal instinct, to try as hard as you can to survive, even if it means believing you can survive into another life once you die in this one.

I guess we just forget Heaven and Jesus if better. Maybe it's because we're afraid of leaving our loved ones behind. Perhaps we forget we can speak to Jesus Himself after we die.

Boy, you really could be the Christian's Jesus, couldn't you?

Hah, they give you thumbs down, but they won't answer.

I dunno. It strikes me as hypocritical. IF heaven is a real place, and god controls everything (he could cure your cancer if he wanted to) then why fight HIS will? Plus heaven is tripped out bliss and you get to see your dead family and friends.

I don't get it.
