Thank you. You have made my day. Few Christians realize there are 3 creeds or faith statements in Christianity. Early on, people believed a little of this, a little of that, a slice of heresy, and 2 bites of old paganism. Starting in the 4th century, 3 creeds were drafted, debated, and accepted as true expressions of the Christian faith. Nicene came first, Apostles is named such because it is supposed to reflect the faith of the Apostles. And Ath. It is a pretty negative creed, but is counted as one of the big three of our faith. Reading it will help you understand that the questions on YA are not new.
