Has anyone ever delivered in a German hospital? I am delivering at Homburg University and was wondering if anyone had ever been through this experience or not and could share some of what I might expect as far as differences to American hospitals?

I ask because I've been home all weekend sick, and caught an episode of "Hogan Knows Best" (and no, I don't get my religious education from reality tv). Anyway, they were having a barbeque for the neighborhood and they had a few Rabbi's over and Brooke (Hulk's daughter) went to shake one of the Rabbi's hand to introduce herself and he said something along the lines of "Rabbi's don't touch any other women but their wife". Then she went to introduce herself to another Rabbi in the crowd and said "hi" and said something like "I heard you don't shake hands with women" and that Rabbi confirmed it too.
I was kind of surprised. Is this only something that Rabbi's do or are all Jewish men not allowed to touch any other women than their wives? Thank you for your answers!
Ps. Scripture or any other references are welcome (just please no posting of websites).

one astronaut went to the moon looking for god, was disappointed because he did not find him, another astronaut went to the moon looking for god and saw him everywhere.

do you think this is an accurate portrayal of perceptions for both athiests and christians? does a negative or positive outlook inhibit/propel our intellectual reasonings to believe or not believe in god? an athiest looks out his front door and sees no reason to believe in god, and a christian looks out his front door, sees the same thing, and has every reason to believe in god. so in other words, does it take the same amount of faith to disbelieve in god as it does to believe in god?

Why do Mormans insist on waking me up in the morning?

I have found an entertaining response to bullying to be snappy comebacks. My son is skinny, pale and English in a country of dark skinned people so he gets some bullying for it. My son is naturally funny but help him out with some cool comebacks to these kinds of attacks. Its the way HE wants to deal with it. Turning the table and making the onlookers laugh with a good comeback is a very cool way to deal with people who would make you the butt of a joke. Help out my lad please.

Black people were suppressed for a long time. They are now considered equal and they show how proud they are to be black. If a white person showed how proud they are to be white, it is considered to be racist. Is this picture not wrong!?! Why can't we all be proud without being labeled 'racists'?

The question dealt with whether or not atheist had some kind of spirituality (asked because one of you objected to me calling you unbelievers, and insisted she had a kind of spirituality, WTH?). I told you all I would put the question to vote and I did. The response you chose, basically said that atheists have no spirituality of any kind. YOu also claim you are not a religion. So why are you in the "spirituality and religion" section? You are party crashers; you don't belong here. It started when I was young. My uncle molested me when I was little. Then
I got married when I was 18yrs old and he was very abusive. He would beat on me then want me to have sex with him.
I got a divorce when I was 20.
I dated for a little while after that. I have been with two other men and enjoyed it.
But I haven't dated or had sex in about 10 years and my whole family say I am gay. I am happy the way I am and don't want to be in a relationship but that doesn't mean I'm gay, Right?
I have questioned myself because I hear it all the time and I have to defend myself too. When I watch porn - The only thing that turns me on is when it is a man and woman. Not saying anything bad but I just don't like to watch two women together. I don't have nothing against people who are gay.
Not to say I haven't over the years thought about trying it but it was just like a quick thought, gross, never mind.
So is my family right or should I tell them to shove it and leave me alone?

I dont know what to do for New Years Eve....last time we didnt have a plan, my mum, dad, husband and i went to a restaurant....we left about 10pm and them came home...there wasn’t anything on tv and my boring hubby was tired and so went to bed!
We stayed up and watched a film and then at midnight i woke him up so we could sing in the new year....then after that we all went to bed!!!! It was the worst New Years ever!
Well this year is approaching fast and we dont have any plans so far....i dont want a repeat of last time, but i cant find anywhere that are advertising for a new years do.....
I live about 30 minutes for Cambridge, and 30 minutes from Stansted Airport, ( Very close to Bishops Stortford)
If anyone has any ideas id be very grateful!

well i am a survivor of an abortion and you know something even though life treats me like crap, and people dissapoint me, i am still thankfull for surviving the attempted abortion... now there have been time in my life where i wished the abortion was a success so i would not have to endure the cruelty that i recieved... for the record i was born March 25 1981 at 2am.

for example :

1. My biologival parents had me accidently
2. My biological parents tried to have an abortion
3. from the time i was born until i was three, i was severely abused and neglected
4. my bioligival mom is a drug addict
5. my biological dad is a drunk...(currently serving time in prision for my abuse)
6. from the age of 31/2 - 5yrs i was in and out of foster homes...never have been truly grounded anywhere.

now the next part is why i am glas i survived

1. when i was 51/2 i was offically adopted
2. i finally had a family
3.knew what is was like to be truly loved.
4. growing up i had many problems (stemming from my biological abuse), and even with those problems my family stood by me
5. i currently have 11 brotheres and sisters,( my adoptive mom is involved in foster care.

there wew alot of other thing s that impacted my liofe growing up..
but nothing hits home like ABORTION....i can so identify with why it is wrong... and if i can changed one mind, prevent one child from death as a result of an abortion, then my life will be sooo much better... and even if i never save any babies from abortion i can go to my grave knowing that i treid to do something rather than sit and let it continue.

currently i am a missionary with Ywam(Youth With A Mission)
and the picture below is of me and two mongolian boys who look so much like my brothers back home
