one astronaut went to the moon looking for god, was disappointed because he did not find him, another astronaut went to the moon looking for god and saw him everywhere.

do you think this is an accurate portrayal of perceptions for both athiests and christians? does a negative or positive outlook inhibit/propel our intellectual reasonings to believe or not believe in god? an athiest looks out his front door and sees no reason to believe in god, and a christian looks out his front door, sees the same thing, and has every reason to believe in god. so in other words, does it take the same amount of faith to disbelieve in god as it does to believe in god?

I see God around me every day. However, it is my understanding that Athiests see the same things and sees no God. It is all about perception. My personal belief is this: Without control there is chaos. Thus, there was control in the creation, because this world and how things work (while chaos exists within the world) is completely organized.

I think it's the opposite; the Christian sees God in things because they have faith that He is the one who put them there, or made nature so perfect. I'm not sure what people that don't believe in God see when they look out their door, but I do know that it is a Christian's belief and faith in God that cause us to see Him in our world. So what is it that non-believers have faith in? The fact that no one made anything? It may take BELIEF that God did NOT make what they are seeing...but I'm not sure it qualifies as faith. It's all in how you look at it.

Some people just need faith and some want proof. If I owed you a million dollars but claimed that I put the money in your bank account, I bet you'd want proof. If I said "You just have to have faith" . You'd say, "Forget the faith BS, show me proof". Remember that Killing for God is the biggest fuel for the Atheist Movement. Something's wrong with a God Concept that has taken over 100 million lives and encourages the followers to ignore it. .I hope that you're not one of them.

Not just faith but a certain level of intelligence helps also. Studies find that most atheist are of low education and intelligence and the opposite is true for those who believe in a higher creator or God.

We, as a society have set limits to what we evaluate evidence. specifically the 5 senses. See, pay attention, touch, scent, flavor. once you walk right into a room and you will sense the rigidity you won't be able to place it below all people of those senses. Nor are you able to place the sensation of peace you get once you're in simple terms sitting in a non violent placing. because of the fact that we can not administration those senses we don't evaluate them evidence. God has placed a veil over us so as that we are able to confirm on for ourselves if we could do sturdy or evil. many human beings have seen via this veil and as they proportion their reports are taunted for them via people who prefer to be waiting to handle what they have heard. while we could not sail the seas the international grow to be flat. while the seas were sailed all people might have achieved it. that's the religion that made the difference. a real try of character for the infants of God.

YES!! bang on bulls-eye!! Life through different glasses.

And as for faith, G-d never fails. For me it takes more faith not to believe. If you believe in something that never fails, you just have good sense!
