Black people were suppressed for a long time. They are now considered equal and they show how proud they are to be black. If a white person showed how proud they are to be white, it is considered to be racist. Is this picture not wrong!?! Why can't we all be proud without being labeled 'racists'?

You are right.
People have gay and black pride marches and parades but if you had a white pride parade you would be considered as a racist.
It happened in a small town in Canada.
By the way I am not saying this because I am racist, I am caucasian and my wife is black.
Just like affirmative action, if we were doing the opposite (giving the chance to white folks) it would be considered racist.
What a double standard. It should not be about colour.
There is nothing wrong of being proud of your ethnic background.

I'm proud to be white and I certainly don't feel it's racist. My family a very long time ago came from the Netherlands on one side and Northern Europe on the other. What's to be racist about. I'm white and proud of it. If someone is black and proud of it, so be it. As they should be.

Black people think they are the only people ever to have been held as slaves and therefore think that they are the only people that should have the right to be proud of themselfs. They disregard the thousands of years Jews were executed. Or when Southern Korea was being ran by Northern or the fact that some Chinese men were from birth raised to think nothing more of life than it is their destiny to commit suicide by strapping a bomb to their chest.

maybe it is like, I could say " I am proud to be Finnish and Welsh" instead of white. I am not proud I am white, but I have pride in my heritage. It may depend on exactly how it is said also. We should all be proud of who we are and we are all unique in some way.

I think we should be proud of our accomplishments, not something that we have no control over.

no, the white pride you are talking about also says that because they are white, that automatically makes them better.
