i love how christians love to remind us constantly we dont know anything about what were talkin about and they think they know know god and jesus,but the truth is they dont have a f'in clue what their talkin about their 'bible' is hipocritical and doesnt even make sense if you read it and put everything together,theres more ways to disprove god then prove god so basically blow me!

I live in San Antonio, Texas, and we have a very large hispanic/Mexican population here. I have seen a lot of bilingual hispanics who can speak both spanish and English, still request or sometimes INSIST that I find someone who speaks spanish to communicate with them, OR they will speak ONLY spanish to me, knowing I speak english, and that I know THEY can speak english too. Why is this?

I am trying to learn about the wiccan faith, and am interested in looking into solitary wicca. It's something that has intrigued me for a long time.

I have been reading occasional articles on witchvox, mostly because I have been hugely busy with my university work. I am wondering if anyone here could recommend other sites that are focused more to the solitary wiccan.

Also, other wiccan's views on the solitary path would be welcome.

For instance; A Spanish speaking "Gringo", or even an American Hispanic speaking proficiently to a native of another Spanish speaking country, and the native will only answer in English.Some people do it when they know your from "el Norte", even if you are hispanic yourself. It has happened to me a few times, and it made me a little angry.Sometimes I just did not hear what they said, and needed them to repeat it, and then, BOOM!,English from that point on.This has happened to me here in the US, and in Latin America.Am I wrong to feel slightly insulted?Thank you for you input!Gracias pa' el consejo!Ciao!

I'm a Christian and an animal lover. I believe that animals have souls and go to Heaven, but other Christians say that they don't have souls. I'm just wondering, where in the bible does it say that animals don't have souls? I strongly believe that they do but if the bible says that they don't than I'll believe it. Please give references. We need to be praying for our middle eastern brothers and sisters why? Because we are all part of God's creation. Do you remember what our Lord Jesus said? "Pray for all men. Forgive your enemies especially does that dispitefully use you" We need to let go of 9/11 and forgive. The blood of Jesus has atoned for all our race and that includes the people of the islamic culture. We may not all be of the same religion but we can love them and pray for them at this time of their greatest need. The bombs and bullets does not pick anyone--old as well as young, men as well as women will die and they will die in their thousands without any chance of been saved. Let's pray that Jehovah Shalom, the God of peace, will send his peace into Iraq and Lebanon and Palestine. No-body can fix these problems except Jehovah. He will do it if we collectively pray.

Now did Jesus Christ commit suicide? He technically did, didn't he? He knew the Romans were coming to kill him, and it was within his power to save himself but he didn't run away or hide, instead he stayed. He just let the Romans kill him. Doesn't that mean he committed suicide? Even if it was a sacrifice in order to purge the world of its sins, it is nonetheless suicide and according to Christianity doesn't that mean he is in hell?
