well I was born into it, had almost converted, and was drawn back to it, if it counts.
my life fell into shambles and faith and reason seemed distant, however during my senior year in high school, I received a postcard from a catholic college in my state, I sent my application in, along with many others to other colleges, but they replied and told me I was accepted, and would receive any scholarship I needed.
oddly enough though, after reviewing their records, no one ever sent me a postcard from this college, likewise none of the other colleges received my applications

Actually I was born Catholic and being a North American Native that is definitely not my religion by far. Born Catholic, raised Anglican. It's funny though. So many denominations for one book. I've never known one book to go through so many revisions just support one's way of thinking. However I was assimulated into that belief and culture at a young age as I was adopted into a white family which was common practice in the days of old right up to mid to late seventies. I was born in 1966. Having never known my own culture and peoples beliefs I accepted the ways of the Bible. And for awhile I lived under that way of life thinking that I believed. I'm still not sure what to believe anymore. I admit my faith is weak because there is so many conflicting philosophies and scientific thruths to our existance. Re: The big bang theory ( Science supports that )
and the creation of man and all that is made by God ( Christianity supports that). The truth in that is that you have to have faith and not question God's word. Anyway, If we knew all that there was to know about everything then we'd have nothing to do. So, I'll just let the law of nature govern me and keep me guessing, I am content with all that there is, no regrets. Peace.

Contrary to some comments here, no one is BORN a Catholic. Religion is a choice. Jesus rescued my family and I from the blasphemous Catholic religion. We are now Bible believing Christians - the opposite of catholicism.

I was born into it. I brought my wife and step-daughter into it. My step-daughter really loves being Catholic and going to Catholic school.
