you can't classify all christians in the same category. some may be wolves in sheeps clothing, some may be corrupt. Usually true christians don't judge anyone else or regard themselves better than the lost in this life; their like Jesus Christ, thus christian.

I think christians ( mostly corrupt) founded america. those people usually used God falsely to claim dominance such as over africans, the native americans, mexicans "who were in the way" of the white mans "manifest destiny" that he should get all america cause "God said so".

Christians feel great because they have the Living God on their side. Christians can prove that there is God because the scriptures, the word of God is in the bible and it usually proves the fallacies of other religions and the truth of the universe gets revealed. A special feeling like no other in the world comes in your heart by the Holy Ghost which proves God exists, a feeling of goodness, righteousness, and other feelings like no other religion.

Usually Jesus said you must be born again to enter God's eternal rest and have eternal life. you must ask forgiveness of your sins and wash them away with the blood of Jesus to get saved, repent, and continue to walk in grace. this is all because of the fall of man; through Adam death for everyman, through Jesus life for everyman who chooses eternal life. You must meet the terms in this life in order to go to heaven. If you do nothing and be a non-christian, christians think you will go to hell because you are not saved and you must do those things to avoid hell and judgement which is God's will: for everyman to be saved; although its everyone's choice if they want to be with God.

( jesus existed from eternity and was incarnated to flesh and blood without sin to save us from the fall of man and to defeat the power of sin so we may not be slaves to sin. his bloodshed is for our sins to be washed away and we must repent. His death and resurrection annuled Satan's power of death over mankind; he made it possible for everyone to be bodily eternally resurrected: first the righteous dead, than the wicked dead to the lake of fire who refused Jesus in their hearts and to be saved.)

First, you are right we cannot prove that there is a God. I cannot show you a picture of Him or give you a math equation that says He exists. I simply believe that he does. Second, we act like every non christian is going to hell because it is true. I know popular Christians shy away from saying that blatantly but it is true. There is one way to avoid hell, belief and faith in Christ. I cannot keep this to myself. That would be cruel. Third, I don't know what Christians you are talking to but we are NOT great.... I am a screwed up sinner in need of God's grace and mercy every single day. And to the fourth point, atheists did not found our country although they have taken over our core beliefs in a large way. I hope that helps you with understanding at least where I am coming from. If you want a more educated answer and response with more scientific acknowledgement I encourage you to look up the lecturer Ravi Zacharias. He answers the common Atheistic questions without pounding the bible over their heads. :)

A) The original Americans were religious. Native Americans worshipped the Great Spirit over 11,000 years ago. We have ample archaeological evidence of this.

B) The Spaniards who settled the South and Southwest in the 16th century were Catholics and despite what some feebleminded types think, they are the original Christians.

C) The first colonists were in Jamestown. They were Anglicans.

D) The next set in 1620 were Puritans.

Tell me, bub. Which ones do you consider to be atheists?

And finally. You PROVE there is no God. Then we'll talk. And no, I don't think you're definitely bound for hell. I just think that given your attitude toward God and those who believe in Him, you'll probably be happier there than stuck in heaven with us.

You can't prove there isn't a God, so why are you so sure of yourself? Why do you act like there is no afterlife? What if hell is real and you end up going there? The risk is far greater for you if you are wrong. If Christians are wrong, we just end up in a hole in the ground. If you're wrong...that sucks.

I would guess that you are an atheist. Or at least an agnostic. However, if I were to ask you about the existance of God, or any atheist, for that matter, what answer could I logically expect? Something like, "There is no God", correct? You, or any other atheist, would be willing to say that, right? Well, get this: that is an absolute statement, and you cannot be 100% positive about your answer unless you know everything about everything about the subject matter. For example: if one were to say, "There is no silver in India", then that one would have to do some research. In other words, that one would have to look under and inside of every rock, know what was inside every clump of dirt, know that no one had any silver metal on their person, no one had any silver teeth, no one had any silver jewelry, ect. One would also have to moniter airports, docks, any place where people came in to make sure that no one came into India with any silver. You would have to know everything about everything about silver in India in order to confidently say, "There is no silver in India". That said: in order to say, "There is no God", you would have to know everything about everything, you would have to travel to and examine every square inch of this earth, you would have to travel everywhere in the entire universe (just for starters) in order to confidently say, "There is no God". Now: go do that, and tell me there is no God. That is, IF you live long enough to complete ONE of those tasks. If you don't, well... But, going back to the example, to say, "There is silver in India", then I only have to know that, in particular place in a particular area, there was a piece of silver. It doesn't have to be huge. But it is still irrefutable proof. It is my little piece of proof that blows away anyone who says, "There is no silver in India". In the same sense, my little piece of proof, among other things, that proves the existance of God is my testimony. No atheist or agnostic can deny that. It is my little piece of proof: not what I've done in my life, but what God has done and what only God COULD have done, and is doing. So, if you are unable to, with 100% confidence, deny the existance of God, then what are you? Well, you can still say, "I don't believe there is a God", but if you don't know for sure then you have moved from an atheist to an agnostic. I don't think there is such a thing as an atheist. Sure, you can say, "I don't believe in God", but guess what? What you believe doesn't matter unless you believe the truth. I can believe that I can fly unassisted, but what happens when I jump off of a 10-story building? What I believe becomes irrelevent. I'm falling, and there is little I can do about it. So if you don't know for sure, then why would you want to gamble with your soul? This is a gamble in which you have no chance of winning if you deny the existance of God. So, you might ask with Pilate,

John 18:38 NIV
"What is truth?"...

Here is your response:

John 14:6 NIV
Jesus answered, "I am...the truth..."

So what do you do?

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

I hope this helps, God bless!

Note: I don't think I'm superior to everyone else. I simply know that I am saved, and want other people to be saved as well. I am more than willing to serve other people, just as my Lord Jesus Christ did!

If you willingly ignore God, you go to hell. What makes us so great? Everyone is loved the same by God. It's up to you to accept it. And the founfing fathers were all Episcopalians, or however u spell it.

I don't have to prove anything to you, for I know in my heart he
exists, Maybe if you didn't have so much hate in you heart,
you could find him. I truly pray this for you. It's such an awesome
feeling to have God in my heart. Someday, with much work,
you can find him, too. Good Bless You
