I just copied this

Here's the Atheist's comment

God believers are taught that this is just how it is and we're just born bad. Solutions are not valued or even thought about

Atheists believe that we can fix the problems by doing away with reiligion for a start

Here' the Christian's comment

They dont understand that we are imperfect, sinnful race, everywhere we turn, there are mistakes in every aspect of this sinnful world (only because we made it like that, God made it perfect, but we screwed everything up) :S

I'm from San Diego, and there has been this big debate to get rid of the cross at Mount Soledad(for decades)...all because of one person who happened to be an Athiest....why do they let it bother them? Why can't they just let it be? Same thing with Christmas on the Prado...an event in Balboa park that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. A group of Athiest complained and the event was changed to "December Nights". Christmas will always be known as a Christian feast commemorating the birth of Jesus.

Let me start by saying you do not have to believe in God or be religious to be respectful... So let's try to display a little respect for all people and their religions, honest answers only please.

This is a hypothetical question...
Do you think if everyone in the world who believes in God (what ever your idea of God is) would come together on one accord and agree that there is only one God and prayed to that one that all of these problems that people think should be solvable through prayer would be resolved. Hunger, homelessness, violence, murder, war etc.

Because if you think about it hypothetically speaking if there is truly one God how can he answer the prayers of billions of people on one targeted issue when everyone is praying to a different God, Deity, or Spiritual Being?

It's just a question and not an attempt at conversion so serious answers please.

Have social scientists done research on this? The Christians like to proseletyze and tell others how to live. Maybe they should just mind their own business, instead of forcing laws and their behavior codes onto others.

Can someone explain John 15:16? "You did not choose me but I chose you" doesn't show a God that loves all of mankind and hopes for everyone to come to him. If we do have free will, I sure ain't seeing it.
