Well, the Christian Kiss of the Brotherhood went out of favour around 300 AD, so Christian men no longer snog each other when they meet. I guess they are upset that something that Christ did with his followers, they can't do, because people may expect they are gay?
Most people don't believe in Mumbo Jumbo, whose only requirement is for you to rub blue mud in your belly button so you can go to heaven and sit on his right hand side.
Mumbo Jumbo doesn't mind if two men kiss, as along as their bellies are properly blue.
There will be much gnashing of teeth, when the day of judgment comes, from the unbelievers who mistakenly believe that they, and not the blue bellied believers will rise to sit at God's side. Yes, the hell of unbelievers will be filled with waling infidels on that great day. All hail Robert A. Heinlein, the great prophet, who even today sits on the right side of God, and awaits the judgment day.
Seriously though, I thought Christ and his diciples said that Love was the overall overriding law.

There are a lot of christian countries where men kiss, it's cultural not religious.
If things are as most Christians believe, then the laws of moses are no longer valid. Too There is nothing in the NT from Jesus, for whom this Religions is considered to be based, about homosexuality, that was Paul/Saul.
So if only the 10 commandments are to be followed and Jesus did not admonish against homosexuality, could not one assume there was a paradigm shift?

lol thanks Maryanne - needed another dose of "Adam and Steve" to make my weekend truly suck! Hate the glib stupidity of that answer. But the question still stands - if God can be strong enough to overcome the natural carnivorous instincts of a lion (animal slavery?), surely it shouldn't matter if two men, or women, enjoy wild passionate sex together? Where's the "danger" in that to a creature that can calm a lion?

It is strange.
God: I shall make these two men love each other.
Later God realize that it is a sin to have two men have sex with each other.
God: Oh no I've made a mistake, but that is impossible because I am perfect.
Proof god disappears in a puff of logic.
If that answer seems silly to you, well it should. It should be just as silly as the arguments Christians have against gays.

Because two men kissing is not a pretty sight. However, If it's a son saying hello to his father "OR" a male kisses a baby boy ( Like a baby Nephew ) then that's OK. But two men kissing just isn't going to be a pretty sight.

Where did you read that?
Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen. (1Pet. 5:14)
And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him. (Exod. 4:27)
And all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place. (2Sam. 19:39)

RELIGIOUS PEOPLE have a problem with it - not God.
The bible says that there was only ONE factor that qualified Eve to be Adam's mate: "this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh". He didn't say, "She has a va gina and breasts". What made Eve qualified was that she was not an ANIMAL (Adam had been offered all animals and refused them all) - she was the same species as Adam. All humans are bone and flesh of Adam's bone and flesh and are therefore qualified to mate whether male or female.

;] Nice question, but wow what horrible answers some gave!
I really can't understand how anyone can answer a question with the phrase "god hates _____ ". That is not in my vocabulary! To me the very definition of God is boundless love.
spreading peace, not hatred,

I'm an atheist, and two men kissing (or more, as has been suggested) is just gross. There's a reason a flashlight breaks when you stick batteries in with two positive connectors touching.

same reason He didn't make it so that two men can be fruitful and multiply, He didn't say be fruity.......I had to put that in there. He didn't make Adam and Steve for a reason. Same reason He made it so women bear children and not men......especially if the kissing is intimate and for reasons other than greeting and He judges from the heart.
