I don't mean just at Christmas, but year round? My priest last week was talking about religious art in our homes showing others we are Catholics. I have one statue of Mary on a bookshelf and Our Lady of Perpetual help picture in my bedroom. What do you have displayed?

Or is it just a prejudice term? Do you think it's bad to be "white trash", even if you/they are happy?

What if we didn't have people like this...and they were competing for "higher end" jobs, instead of doing the janitorial-type jobs, or no job at all? What if they have a small mental disorder and can't help their tendencies...not to mention outside influences and poor environment?

Atheists..while in prayer I was out of body...He...Jesus..took me up while encapsulated in a cool cloud of His Presence...I floated slowly through space while adoring Him...and in slow motion hovered over the curvature of the sun. ( I am totally drug free.) He is real. Jesus came and got me and did that to me. Would you trade all this beauty for a life of unbelief ?

I know that you must think that I'm an anorexic, bulimic, or I'm trying to get some attentions, but actually I'm not. I just feel strange that, day after day, I hate to eat, and feel guilty after I eat something. And the worst part is my friends start to think that I want to be like one of the super-skinny-anorexic models out there. I'm not overweight, noone says that I should lose some weights. I want to help society to improve, not just in the present, but for the future. What type of community work, activism, or volunteering do you do? Or what areas do you feel are truly in need of assistance, but have been overlooked? There are so many areas where one could help that it's hard to choose. I plan to make major changes in the future, and I want to use my time wisely. One person can not change the world, but small changes and help, by many people, can make a huge difference. I don't have much money, but I do have a huge heart, lots of time, and a strong desire to help others. I think everyone has an obligation to step out of their comfort zones, and help others. It takes some of us longer to do that for various reasons, but once we WAKE UP, there are no excuses for not reaching out to others, or working on some level to help make a positive change for society.Thanks
