I don't mean just at Christmas, but year round? My priest last week was talking about religious art in our homes showing others we are Catholics. I have one statue of Mary on a bookshelf and Our Lady of Perpetual help picture in my bedroom. What do you have displayed?

I have a prominently displayed crucifix in my home. This is to remind me of what is the center of my life.

Since most Protestants would only have a cross and not a crucifix, this would tell any visitors that my family and I are Catholic.

With love in Christ.

The statues at the instant are not idols or graven photos and that they do no longer look to be worshipped. God in the previous testomony commanded the Jews to construct statues many instances. An occasion is Exodus 25:18. The statues are used as a fashion for people to hook up with the memories in the bible and remember them. This replace into considered necessary hundreds of years in the past whilst people could desire to no longer study the bible for themselves so the statues allowed them to remember and visualize the memories. If this replace into definitely a sin then photos could be a extensive sin stunning whilst the guy in the photograph died.

Yes. In my family's dining room on top of a buffett-looking table we have a painting of the Last Supper and above it hanging on the wall we have a framed copy of the Beatitudes with a picture of Mary on the left side of the frame and a picture of Jesus on the right side.

Hi, yes I have a statue of our Lady of Fatima that I love and also an icon of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and no matter how much the decor changes in my home I would never remove them, they are just as much a part of my family as any member to me.
God bless.

We have several statues of Mary year round. Each one of my children has a statue of one of the various Saints. We have a crucifix over our front door.
