I know that you must think that I'm an anorexic, bulimic, or I'm trying to get some attentions, but actually I'm not. I just feel strange that, day after day, I hate to eat, and feel guilty after I eat something. And the worst part is my friends start to think that I want to be like one of the super-skinny-anorexic models out there. I'm not overweight, noone says that I should lose some weights. What's wrong with me?

I feel guilty after eating too much pizza. or icecream or cake, junk foods. I feel great after making a protien shake in the blender, eating mixed greens salad, eating kale, collards, broccoli. and fruit fruit fruit makes me feel good too! stick to the best of the best foods: not processed, organic if possible, lotsa greens and veggies. there is no way to feel guilty for eating these foods, they help prevent cancer, give you the 'healthy glow' nourish you. make you feel light and healthy! Here is what I'm making tonight: everything is chopped really really fine..romaine lettuce. kale. cucumber(take out seeds and make it as dry as you can after chopping with paper or cloth towels) scallion (white part) tomato (take out seeds). chop it all very very fine. dress with olive oil and lemon juice. I got this recipe when my 7 yr old was studying turkey last year. we have it once a month or so. It's SO good and healthy for you!!

Think back to childhood: was food scarce? Were meal times full of tension or meals eaten in a hurry? Were you nagged to hold your knife and fork just so? (I was). Your 'guilt' may go back to before this....perhaps your mother had problems breast-feeding you.....or was embarrased to do so. If you have a good relationship with her you could talk about it.

Your feelings are not uncommon but not necessarily your fault: eating (and the evacuation process) are vital to our lives...we die if they don't work well!! SO they can become the focus for other problems. You know the phrases "a constipated old woman" or "old fart" ...we refer to elderly people who have wrapped their psychological problems in bodily problems!

Try to think......and it's usually something very simple. Surprisingly so!

You really shouldn't feel guilty after eating, unless you have some vegetarian sympathies and were eating meat. Maybe, you should try not eating meat. Remember, you have to eat. There's nothing to feel guilty about.

It's either you stop feeling guilty, or not eat at all and die. Your choice.

Well, most of us know what is good for our bodies/temples and we know when we defile them.

Guilt, it seems, insues
