I heard on a radio program the other day that if you budget correctly a reasonable amount is about 1.5% of your income. If you make 100K a year, that is $1500. Seems like a reasonable rule of thumb to keep out of the poorhouse and still have your
family and friends happy with you. ;-)

I usually spend 50 dollars each on my children, I have four, than 50 dollars on my husband. That is if we have the money for each other.

WELL, LET'S SEE... I SPEND ABOUT $50 ALONE ON CARDS TO SEND TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND THEN I SPEND ABOUT $300 ON PRESENTS FOR EVERYONE. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT'S A LOT COMPARED TO EVERYONE ELSE, BUT I LOVE GIVING SO I GUESS IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER.
