Has the AARP turned communist and atheist? I know Cuba has twice as many doctors per capita as the USA. In the Western Hemisphere, it ranks only behind Canada, in quality health care, according to the World Health Organization.

MF...I don't know for sure if Cuba has the highest longevity. Theoretically, Canada's should be higher, according to the WHO.

Well, according to the CIA World Factbook, the country with the longest life expectancy is Andorra (83.51 years), while Cuba is ranked 55th (77.41 years).
The 2006 UN Human Development Report lists Cuba with a life expectancy of 77.6 years, which is fairly close to the CIA's 2006 estimate. So, I guess the CIA isn't that far off. Although, the UN did not rank Andorra.
The World Health Organization lists life expectancy for men in Cuba to be 75 and for women, 80 (which is about 77.5 or so for the whole population).
Anyway, Cuba does have excellent health care, some of the best in the world, but it appears that their life expectancy is not as high as the AARP would have one think. Maybe they *are* communists ;)
Also, Canada's life expectancy is higher than Cuba's.

Why would the AARP being atheist (how could an organization be atheist, anyway?) make them less legit? This is just another example of rediculous intolerance against atheists.
