Confucius says humans are basically good and kind. They would do no evils to their fellow kinds. However, only Bible suggests to say there is a God who would take account of those who do evils and their end is punishment in hell prepared for them. If bible is the only book that says that, won't you think it is worth following and believing.

Why is it so difficult to find people at the age of 16, who don't live their lives around partying and sex? It seems like I can't find those kind of people in Oklahoma. And, On top of it all.. Me being gay makes it even more hard

I met a woman in a store today, returning candy canes that she purchased for her sons class. The candy canes were sent back home because as the school said they are religious symbols, I ask what is so religious about a candy cane? All of this religious stuff is ruining the childrens fun at school! Remember the old days when we had Christmas parties, Halloween parties and did cute pictures for Easter? All of that is gone now because of religion. I am not religious and this is getting on my last nerve! Anyone else feel the same way

Since we have evolved to be the dominate species, why haven't we had enough since not to die? We've evolved so many times that someone should have figured it out by now?! Will we ever find eternal life or force ourselves to evolve faster?

I thought you were supposted to be nonjudgemental, support fellowship and so on if you truly are following your religion. Why are so many people on here answering these questions in such negative ways. People will never agree on one relgion I don't think that was the way it was ment to be. Don't you think if God/Allah/etc... wanted there to be only one religion he would have made the world that way. I know you will say that it is because of Satan that there are so many differing views but really think about it before you answer. These discussions on here are showing how screwed up everyone really is. Don't judge one another, discuss, be open minded and try to understand eachother before you attack. You might learn something. Knowledge is the key. You can not trully make judgement if you don't have all the information and no one person could possibly know that much. Please do you homework learn about all the religions in this world before you attack someone.

I don't know much about religion or spiritualism but I like to think I have an idea of what is wrong and wrong, and how to lead a good life- my view is basically lead a good life, and if there is a God he'll smile upon you; but if there isn't a God, you still would have led a good life regardless. I think that religion can be a good thing and that all of the world faiths basically want, and say, the same thing in their truest forms.

I was thinking (dreaming, actually) of setting up something like a monastery, somewhere remote like an uninhabited Hebridean island for example, where people could follow their own beliefs and basically lead a good life without conforming to any of the major organised religions if they didn't want to. I'd like the place to be peaceful and self-sufficient and, like I said, basically a simple, modern and above all non-denominative monastery for everyone to join if they wanted.

Do you think it would work? I'd like to hear your ideas- thanks!

The reason for the season...I am a Sunday school teacher at a Christian church. I teach 5 and 6 year olds. I would like to give them a list of ways they can celebrate Jesus at Christmas time along with their Christmas gifts. Any ideas would be appreciated.

On a particular Christmas season a long long time ago, Santa was getting ready for his annual trip, but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule.



When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where.

Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked, an the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys.

So frustrated , Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. Only to discover the elves had hidden it so he had nothing to drink.

Just then the doorbell rang and Santa trudge to the door. There was a little angel with a huge Christmas tree.
She said "Merry Christmas. Santa. Isn't it a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you Where would you like me to stick it?"

I know a lady who I thought was my freind. She is about 47, she told me she wasn't gay. I told her I wasn't like that either, and I never would be. I became roomates with her, and she would invite me to sleep in her bed, just as freinds. Of course I never would. I started dating and I ended up staying the night at a guys house, I came home the next day and she started screaming telling me to get out!!! She said I was seductive towards her and was leading her on. She talked me into moving out because I was in a bad situation with my x-boyreind. My freinds say I was very vulnerable and she tried to take advantage of that. How could she just lie to me like that, I think she might be a little confused herself. After I moved out she tried everything to try to hurt me or get me in trouble. Did I break her heart?

Im vigro he is pisces& we are still 19.We dont tink in the same way but we never had problems.Only problem we have is we are not in the same religion(this is an serious problem in Asian countries) he thinks that it will be a obstacle for our marriage in the future.But i dont wanna go away from him so do him.We love each other so much.

Well, it's getting to that time of the year again, and there's all these serious faced folk going round saying that we have all forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. I thought I knew what Christmas was all about - sprogg born in barn to "virgin" turns out to be son of God etc.

However, to be sure, I did a little research and thought the best thing was to find information about the first Christmas - surely that one had to give rise to this elusive true meaning...

It was not long until I happened across a vaguely familiar Christmas carol which informs us that the first Noel...."was to frighten poor shepherds in fields where they lay..."

Consequently, I shall be spending Christmas day in Wales, scaring the shite out of shepherds - which sounds like a lot more fun than watching the queen's speech and yelling into grannies hearing aid etc.

So what I want to know is, how do you scare shepherds - are there any special Christmassy techniques, or will the usual stuff work?

I have been with Cindy for about 3 years and i have 2 secrets that i have kept from her and i was wondering when the best time would be to tell her these 2 things:

Okay so I met this woman She has talked to me on my cell a few times and seems nice but something just seemed off and I got to thinking....
She says she travels alot for work she was born in a Asian country I will leave nameless and raised in two other asian countries including the philippines. We just met and because I have a strong interest in Languages she would love to take me to the philippines one day.
Anyway something just doesn't feel right and I started to put the travel and countries together and she acts as if she wants to date me but its just a bit off. I could just be paranoid...
how do you spot a trafficer are their any tale-tale signs?

I know this sounds awful but a girl can never be too careful these days.

2 hours in and 2 ours back, train then bus. I only started on Monday so I dunno if i'm really into it yet. But the 4 hour commute it basically eating up my entire day. And the job isnt even what I ultimately want to do but it's with a really good global company so the experience would be benificial. What do you think?
