If humanity just got this curse shouldn't Jesus' death just lift it?

An unconditional curse with a conditional cure.

Doesn't seem fair to me.

It has always seemed to me infinitely unjust that every single innocent child born a mind-bogglingly long time after the alleged creation of the first humans - is considered to be "guilty" of sin automatically. Also, how outrageously unfair does it sound to you, that this God (who never makes mistakes and does everything in full knowledge of what he is doing) created humans with limited knowledge and limited abilities, and very limited wisdom or understanding - and then condemns everybody who doesn't have the capacity to believe in religion, and in mysterious invisible superbeings (because they don't show themselves). Devout "christians" tell you this is what you must believe. Why? Because they say it is "the truth" How do they know? The Bible says so. How do they know the Bible is everything they say it is? Well, I haven't ever got a straight answer to that one yet, and the way I see it the overwhelming majority of people tend to believe what they had conditioned into their brains from childhood. Their parents, or whoever raised them; their family, the community into which they are born, all tell them the same thing, so that thing gets hardwired into their minds. It becomes THEIR truth. But other people who grow up under different circumstances and different religious conditioning do not share that thinking
If "God" (who never makes mistakes) had wished us to all be just one big Ant Colony, thinking and acting the exact same way, I guess that is how it would have happened. So we have to exterpolate from this, that "God" made us all to think differently on purpose.

Because a gift isn't a gift until it's received, welcomed and accepted as yours. If I had a birthday gift for you, it doesn't become yours until you get it. Then, no one can lay claim to it, because it's yours. Adam wasn't giving anyone a gift, and the knowledge of good & evil isn't a gift, so whether you accept it or not isn't important. Jesus' death DOES lift the curse, based on the shedding of His blood (which was required) to give us a new life, no longer under the power of sin. And no, you don't HAVE to accept this gift of salvation. No one's making you. Sounds like you don't want it anyway, so whatcha griping about? This gift is only extended to those who want it. You don't want it? Jesus doesn't force anyone to accept His gift of love. You can't force love on anyone, and He'd never do that. If you don't come willingly, it wouldn't be worth anything, and you wouldn't be doing it out of sincere gratitude & love. Pretty simple. If you really don't think this all seems fair, hey, you have that right. No one's forcing you to think otherwise. I'm just stating the facts; whether you believe it or not is up to you. If there ever comes a time when you truly want to know more, well, you know where He's at. His line is never busy. <*)))><

You inherited Adams curse of imperfection otherwise you would be perfect.

By going against God, following the serpents advice instead of Gods Adam challenged Gods wisdom, so now we are living in the serpents attempt to run a world. Which will fail

So Jesus is the sacrificial lamb giving us the possibility to be forgiven for the sins we cannot stop making, due to this mesed up world.

God can see in everyones heart, even indians from some jungle will find salvation even if they have never heard of Jesus imo.

But you have heard of Jesus, and have the free choice to accept or not. No one but God can judge you, so don´t listen to all this "go to hell if you don´t join us" rubbish. Hell doesn´t exist.

Except for some peopleliving a nightmare, where its here and now.

It's like this....Just as you were born male/female...You had no control/choice over what gender you were born. Well the same way with sin. Because of Adam's disobedience(sin) of eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge (good/evil) we all have sinned. From that point on sin has entered down the line of all mankind. Before Adam and Eve at the fruit all they knew was God and His goodness, but because of their disobedience they became to know evil, and they were decieved by satan, and exchange satan recieved the rights to be god of this earth. Not only because of Jesus's death that lifted to all that recieve Him but the fact that He died on the cross and on the third day He rose from the dead being alive. He has done so much for you and I that we can't even comprehend the hurt, pain, and burden of putting the weight of sin of all mankind (past, present, and future) on His shoulders. He had to endure the hurt, pain, and burden and through it all live a sinless life, so we wouldn't have to be slaves to sin. Do you understand?

So once a human being is born into this world that person is held accoutable for their actions at whatever age they began to understand between right and wrong. And up until that point the parents are held responsible on how they raised their children. So once that individual is faced with the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ they could either accept His gift of salvation or reject it. However they will be held accountable. God's plan for our lives are perfect, and through His Son Jesus He(God) has made a way for us to have a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. Just as He intended to be in the days of Adam & Eve before they disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit.

Humanity doesn't just have 'a curse', sinning is voluntary and comes from man, but knowledge of good and evil is a gift from God to help us make the rights choices. Even if you make the wrong choices God will forgive you. It is unconditional, all you have to do is ask him.

If you don't believe in God then it doesn't matter what you do, you're your own boss!

Adam represented man when he sinned. That sin was inherited by you. Life isn't fair. You pay taxes and die. Jesus' death lifted the penalty for sin if you believe in Him, but the curse lives until you die.

Well you are given life for free-but the condition of continuing that life is eating, drinking, breathing...and so on. If you were given life and never had to do anything to sustain it-wouldn't be much of a life. If we were given salvation without doing anything-it would just be a ticket out of hell card- not a relationship which is what God wants with us-so it wouldn't be anything. Adam lost his ability to have a close relationship with God- God is giving us the ability to have claim that again.

The fact that you're here as a mortal man on this earth shows that you actually did accept the plan (Jesus' death and ressurection for your sins) in the pre-existance. You made your choice then and now you have to find the means to either live up to you decision or to live through eternity with the consequences.

The fact that no one is perfect and continues to sin requires Christ's atonement. It not only lifts Adam's curse, the one that we have all inherited, but Christ also lifts the curse we continually place upon ourselves when we sin.
However, you do not have to accept Jesus' gift of salvation if you do not want to. It is your decision.

Why look at it as a curse? If you didn't know good and evil you wouldn't have any freewill. You would be like an animal. God wants each one of us to have freewill because He made us in His image. You have a choice to go be with Jesus when you die or be seperated from Him.
