Since we have evolved to be the dominate species, why haven't we had enough since not to die? We've evolved so many times that someone should have figured it out by now?! Will we ever find eternal life or force ourselves to evolve faster?

Evolution is just another religion. Religion by definition is "a system of beliefs". Macro evolution cannot be proven and will never be able to be proven. Micro evolution does occur, but that is a far cry from the ape to man theory.

If separation of church and state bans teaching creationism then evolution should be banned as well since it is a religious belief.

Evolution is part of the natural system Eternal life is not. Evolution will only ever lead to prolonged lives, never eternal ones. The whole concept of evolution is that the weak die and the strong live and reproduce, therefore each generation getting stronger. If eternal life was possible the whole concept of the natural order would be rubbish (as everything living must die.) Therefore, evolution itself would be rubbish.

In terms of geological time, humans have only existed for the wink of an eye. We are still a very new species, and there is nothing that says we won't go the way of the dinosaurs. Continuation is not guaranteed.

hmm... we went from a lifespan of 30 years up to what, 80-90? We're growing taller. The races are just starting to mix, opening up a whole world of adaptations to mix together, and you want immortality?
Evolution works pretty slowly... an ape didn't just drop a human baby. It took years for the species to gain a wrinkle in its forehead, but humans should have been immortal already?

Your school science teacher must have been a resentful creationist. My sympathies, really- now make your contribution to the gene pool and quit complainin.'

Humans are still evolving. We are a work in progress. Eternal life is a realistic idea, but I'm afraid you'll have to wait a little longer.

The Book of Genesis tells us that everything was created by God—nothing "evolved." Every creature was given the ability to reproduce after its own kind as is stated ten times in Genesis. Dogs do not produce cats. Neither do cats and dogs have a common ancestry. Dogs began as dogs and are still dogs. They vary in species from Chihuahuas to Saint Bernards, but you will not find a "dat" or a "cog" (part cat/dog) throughout God’s creation. Frogs don’t reproduce oysters, cows don’t have lambs, and pregnant pigs don’t give birth to rabbits. God made monkeys as monkeys, and man as man.

Each creature brings forth after its own kind. That’s no theory; that’s a fact. Why then should we believe that man comes from another species? If evolution is true, then it is proof that the Bible is false. However, the whole of creation stands in contradiction to the theory of evolution

Death is a consequence of accumulated damage. It is a good thing evolutionarily to have death -- if no one ever died, competition would increase for limited resources and the forces of natural selection would no longer apply.

Evolution requires death, it is not a route to overcoming it.

This is such a non-sense question. You can create so many Why's and What's if you're THAT skeptic about Evolution.

Nothing can convince you.

Darwin started the false teaching of evolution, and right before he died he admitted that he made it up.
