Well, leftists Christians believe so, but how do conservative Christians rationalize this extreme of pacifism? Honestly, doesnt Christianty kinda fall apart here?

I mean, enemies are enemies, its not like we can get "metaphoric" about this, like saying "well, it means your internal enemies"...come on.

Hey, I identify with conservative Christians, even though I reject all religion, but honestly, why do you think leftists are the way they are? Isnt it Christan morality, I mean, they are all Christians arent they?

I know we have many denominations because we are all so very different.This is confussing to the world at times but I believe God has away of dealing with all His chuldren in different ways just as we do with our children.But what is it that makes us all bothers and sisters in Christ ?

So my boyfriend doesn't want to exchange any Christmas presents with ANYONE this year, including me. He says that Christmas has become too commercialised, which I can definitely understand. And he also admitted that buying presents for girls makes him nervous that they won't like it. Anyway, I still would like to give him something (nice, not dirty...). Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of writing him a nice letter/card, making him some Christmas sweets... Any other ideas (we're trying to keep it clean, please :) )?

If god was real, why would there be two main branches of christianity (catholic and protestantism). even if one of them is technically more "correct," then how could god allow that almost half of the adherents to the faith (in the whole world) were following an incorrect version of christianity.

I seen alot of people here argue incorrectly, saying " yeah, well god gives us free will and (yada ,yada yada)" but i think that is missing the point and also, it is insanely perverse to think that someone was using "free will" to choose the branch of christianity that was not the "right one"
If you were born into one of those two branches of christianity and taught it by your parents, and that was the wrong one, there is no free will. ----CONTINUES BELOW---------

If you really believe the Quran stands up to scrutiny, you wont get angry and report me for asking a fair question. Heres some of what the Quran says about magical genies (jinn):

Quran 46:29 “Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur'an: when they stood in the presence thereof...” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/046.qmt.html#046.029

So, Genies are visible ("we turned towards Jinn") and they are a "race" of creatures different from man. If this is so, then we surely would have some evidence of their existance over the last 1400 years since the Quran claimed their presence.

I dont believe in any religion. I dont believe in angels or devils, however, as a matter of logic, angels and devils conviently exist in a spirtual world that avoids this problem where Genies dont. Wheres the proof?

What makes us see someone as beautiful? Did you ever wonder why we think the movie stars are beautiful, blue eyes are prettier than brown let's say, or a thin nose is prettier than a fat one? I am copnverting to catholicism and i was a Neo-pagan before, and i was wanting to make a pact with you (since i understand, what christians do always upsetted me)

I promise to only preach the Gospels to those who ask me to, and as a christian my actions will sway your perspective of all christians so i promise to be a TRUE christian and not only be tolerant of other faiths but to also learn everything i can about there faiths so that if someone asks me what i think of them, i can give an educated response. On the strangest occasions have I been accused of 'mocking God'. In many debates I had with Christians about this subject, I never once have gotten a good definition of the word 'mocking'.

As an example, two exactly the same question, but worded differently.
Is God naked? (=mockery)
Is God dressed? ( never once have I been accused of mockery when asking this)
It seems that the word 'naked' used in one sentence with the word 'God' is mockery. Using the word 'dressed' isn't.

These questions are just examples to show a point. Can you explain me when an opinion or question about God becomes mockery?

Or am I right in thinking that 'mockery' is nothing more than a word that can be used in any discussion just to say "Shut up, I don't wanna hear this" ?

Why do people insist on writing X-Mas?
When we take Christ out of Christmas then we remove the whole meaning of it.
Is anyone else offended by this?
My soon to be daughter in law wrot cards to me and put X-Mas and I was upset, should I tell her how I feel?
