No. There's a spammer going around pretending to be Yahoo! and saying that their account will be removed, but there's no truth to it. I suggest you just report that spammer for Impersonation and move on.

It wasnt always this way, I personally see a correlation between the tidal wave of complaints from the "religion of peace" followed by a CYA policy from Yahoo. They had to make the censorship uniform, but before the threats from the "religion of peace", it appeared to be a free forum.
They probably had no choice, face with the legal and physical threats from the "religion of peace".
